They have changed everything in the last year. I bought 2 cakes for Christmas. They didnt give me the multi layer cakes i ordered. I asked for poinsettas, there were none. The flowers were peach colored smashed flowers. I wish they would go back in time when they new how to bake. I have a picture of the chocolate cake to post.

“This is going to be a long review. When you first walk in you are met with a delicious aroma of fresh bread, and pastries. The staff beats you with such sincerity that you feel like your family. I had called to put in a large catering order Tuesday afternoon right before closing; Wednesday was a holiday and I needed it by Thursday morning. They had everything boxed up ready to go…. Only for me to realize the coolers I bought were not big enough for a box. They offered to repackage everything into smaller boxes. The smaller boxes worked perfectly. While I waited I ordered the Turkey, avocado, bacon sandwich. I can honestly say that was the best turkey avocado, bacon sandwich I have ever eaten. As I write this, I am thinking of how delicious that sandwich was and trying to convince myself that a 50 mile drive for a sandwich is a bit much. The turkey was a thicker cut, juicy, flavorful, and it had that Thanksgiving roasted flavor to it. The bacon Cooked perfectly, not too crisp so you don’t chip a tooth , and not underdone where it is chewy. The avocado was fresh, and it was ripened to the perfect stage. The sandwich also contained some lettuce, and a dressing, which was delicious. All of this delectable goodness placed on fresh bread. The bread had a perfect crunchy outer crust While the inside was soft. The bread itself had an amazing flavor to it with all the seeds and nuts in it made a perfect sandwich. I will write a follow up after the party tonight. It will include photos.“

I called and spoke with the owner (who is so gracious and a truly lovely person) and she included a sampler of a third kind! The baklava arrived in terrific condition, very nicely and thoughtfully wrapped and boxed. Sheer Ambrosia is a genuine first class operation. I got the traditional walnut, spiced pear, and southern pecan. It was unanimous that the baklava is "amazing". The favorite seemed to be the spiced pear. Thank you for the amazing birthday treat and I look forward to more.“

“Forty-Three Bakery has the most amazing pastries and desserts and delicious breakfast too. My lemon poppyseed scone had the perfect crunch. My vanilla latte and my husband’s chocolate London Fog were perfect to the last drop. Need to find out the secret for the yummy eggs too. Such a wonderful Sunday brunch treat. The chocolate, rosemary, and huckleberry pinecone is my favorite chocolate dessert ever. It’s like cracking open a delicious Easter egg when your fork cracks open the delicate chocolate shell. “Gluten free not by choice and always ecstatic to find a safe gluten free bakery. I got the cinnamon bread, cinnamon muffin and cinnamon roll. All were delicious so the next day I went back for another muffin and roll. It has been nothing but delicious food and great, positive vibes from the woman who has helped me both days. I felt very welcome here (especially being from out of town) and did not get sick due to their strict enforcement of no cross contamination.“

“The B.L.E.T sandwich has a sweet mustard on it, which wasn’t a pleasant addition to the sandwich. The produce on the sandwich doesn’t seem very fresh and there wasn’t much protein on the sandwich. Otherwise, the texture, flavor and quality was good. The pastries are so beautiful. The staff is kind and professional, and the decor is gorgeous. Overall, seems like a very nice place.“

“I found this bakery so delightful!!!! I walked in and was pleasantly surrounded with the sweet aroma of Gingerbread and other baked items!!!! Their carrot cake is to die for with the thick tasty cream cheese on top!!!! I love the gingerbread cookies and always pick up some for myself, my kids and grandkids! They are decorated so dang cute!!!!! Love everything they sell and have also picked up some cute decorations!!!!! The people working there are always gracious and happy to help me. Delis, Even my husband's family who are Mexican have been fascinated by the desserts of our Venezuelan culture, especially their puff pastry cakes haha?, I think it's the best and 100% recommended every time I go to Latin stores I find it and buy a sweet that is ? deli, with its respective coffee haha.. We decided to do that. Walked around the nearby shops and got a Starbucks coffee and the our Bundtettes were ready. You can’t go wrong getting a tasty Bundt cake, all flavors are so good.“

“Came here for coffee and a light breakfast. I got the toast of the day, beet hummus and ricotta and my friend got the sandwich of the day, ham and cheese. The toast was good but was pretty expensive at $9. The sandwich was a better deal at $12 and was quite tasty but it had really fibrous, inedible pieces of fennel in it which you had to pick out. I also got a couple pastries and a sourdough loaf to-go. The pain au chocolate was $9 but was ridiculously good, so flaky and buttery! Worth it as a special treat. The food was good but didn't seem worth the price, I think the move for table x bread is going for the freshly baked pastries and breads instead of ordering the toasts/sandwiches. Their bread is so good, crispy and crusty on the outside but soft on the inside, highly recommend the sourdough. The drip coffee was also worth it, very flavorful and reasonably priced. If you plan to eat here, be mindful that there are only 3 indoor seats (there are several small tables outside).“

I can recommend you pay a visit if you're interested in trying something new! The only thing I will note is you may need to be careful if you have any allergies to sesame or dairy. “I used to volunteer there for 4 yrs 2007 to 2011 i loved every minute of it. Every time customers enter the doors of welfare square i always greet them with a smile. Welfare square is such a great place with great services. My most experiences that i will always cherish forever is when i was a customer service host which i love cause i get to help out customers with getting everything they need. I loved volunteering there because i get to meet new people and make new friends and i love being around people and kids that needs help!!“

“This is one of those small shops that have a surprising amount of food options for the size. They're definitely a mom&pop shop and has pretty authentic Vietnamese foods. The banh mi is actually pretty good too, they actually give you a lot of meat and sauce, and is still cheaper than the other restaurant in the plaza. I do want to come back to try some other options“
