I highly recommend Buendia's Bakery!! Fresh bread from the oven to your stomach!! Best pan dulce in town!! You should also try the gelatin and flan, you'll get a sugar coma from just looking at it!! Go and get some bread, you won't regret it!!
This place is conveniently close to my place of work. I love running in for a quick treat. Today I was pleasantly surprised to find a pumpkin empanada, because most places I go to don't have them. Tis the season. The owner is so friendly. I'm a no sabo kid but I enjoy getting the chance to chat with her and practice my Spanish. I tried the guayaba empanada too. It was the prettiest color of filling and tasted so good. I'm already planning on picking up pan for my next staff meeting.

Buendia's Mexican Bakery is a favorite Mexican bakery in the valley, known for its gorgeous and sizable pastries, cookies, and cakes. The bread is delicious and stays fresh for a few days. Specific highlights include amazing tamales, great Rosca de Reyes, so good pan dulce, incredible gelatina mosaico, the best mil hojas cake in the state, and delicious tres leches cake. The cajeta with strawberries is also popular. The staff is very attentive and friendly, and they care about making customers happy. They will make special requests. The bakery is affordable and everything is as good as it looks. It is worth going out of the way for and is a non-optional stop in the neighborhood.
