“Discovering new flavors!
After 4 years I managed to discover this Brazilian restaurant that is very old in Utah.
I tried the Feijoada. Very well served and well seasoned. You could taste the smoke in the beans.
Everything was good, from the cassava to the cabbage and even the cassava. The vinaigrette sauce was very good too, I even asked for an extra portion.
The daughters ate coxinha and pastries. The pastry dough was light and tasty. The drumstick was very well stuffed and well seasoned.
Finally, we tried the milk pudding. Very tasty and well served, I confess that I couldn't bear to eat it all. The only observation is the atmosphere of the place. Needs a store bath urgently.“

“Came here family of 3 for breakfast. We all had bacon, eggs,hash browns, and toast. We shared some French toast. The service is amazing and the small town diner atmosphere exactly what you would expect. All 3 of us thought the hashbrowns were undercooked and bacon could have been crisper for our taste. “I had the Doxie Latte with Almond milk and it was easily the most delicious coffee I have had in a long time. Bonus was that I got to bring my pups, they even got Pup Cups and then we went thrifting after!“

Dietary restrictions: I'm allergic to lavender and the staff was very vigilant in checking their tea for lavender to make sure it was safe for me to drink. I really appreciate that!

Parking: The building is a little hidden but there is plenty of parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: The building is not wheelchair accessible. If you have some mobility there are three stairs to get into the building and they have main floor seating but there is a big staircase to the second floor. So I would call to see which rooms are the most accessible.“

“This place seems to always be hopping. I did my second coaching call here and it’s a great place to meet new clients.

I ordered a great caramel iced coffee and avocado toast. When I was told they had just run out of avocados and offered me anything else on the menu, not only did they not charge for the upgrade, they refunded my money. Great customer service and great food.“

Moving here frrom a town in IL just north of Chicago, I never expected to find quality kielbasa in UT... but low and behold, Rise By Good Day has saved my polish cravings and kept my stomach happy. You have to get the Weselna Kielbasa. It is my absolute favorite. You also cannot go wrong with pierogies either. Or the poppy seed bread. Or the polish apple pie. I also love trying all the other polish foods and snacks. The ketchup is my new go to. Don't get me started on the Paczki. That's a delicacy of its own. Stop in, you wont be disappointed. The service is amazing. The owner is so friendly, as are her staff. I cannot recommend this place enough. I am looking forward to them opening the new location in West Jordan and trying their pierogi pizza and kielbasa pizza. Mmm!!“

“Such a great dessert place. It’s hard to find at night as it’s not well lit on the side of the street and there’s no major lit sign. The inside is old, but I think that gives it its charm and sets it apart. The service was kinda meh, the guy at the front didn’t seem to know what I was asking for (wanted ice cream on the side) and they brought me ice cream on the cookie as well as another scoop in the freezer. Which I understand my ask was way weird so understandable. Everything tastes so good.“

“Love this place, the amazing coffee with good food not to mention the wonderful crepes. I don't get to go often but as soon as I get a chance I'm there even if it's to grab and go. I'm not a very social person, I have anxiety pretty easily, however this place is just so relaxing and the staff are kind. “This is a wonderful place to grab breakfast. The staff is friendly and courteous and the food is good. No complaint there. The booths give space for semi private conversations where it's not too loud. The prices for breakfast are higher than I would expect. They are more in the range of what I'd expect to pay for lunch/ dinner. I paid almost $40 for two of us.“

“Loved this adorably quaint cafe!! Walking in you immediately notice the unique decor and style. Its set up is similar to most cafes with table seating and the cooking area is visible to all.

The service was excellent!! Sat down and immediately were greeted and brought drinks. Once we ordered our food, it was on our table within about 10 minutes!! We couldn’t believe how quickly it came!! I ordered the French Toast combo while my fiancé had the Cottonwood Special Omelette. Everything came out hot and just as ordered. We were pleasantly surprised by how big the pieces of meat were in the omelette.

Overall, this was a FANTASTIC dining experience!! We went on a Sunday afternoon (walked in around 1:00 PM). We were seated immediately, received fast service, and even though they closed within an hour of our arrival, we never felt rushed. We will be back and can’t wait to try the Club sandwich.“

“I honestly wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. I work at two other hospitals, and the food here is leaps and bounds above the others in terms of freshness and quality. The workers are always super personable and I honestly feel like it’s almost coming to see a friend when I come to get my food (shout out to Alex and Eduardo). I never pack lunch when I work at this hospital because I know I can get quality, delicious food here. It’s honestly one of the highlights of my work day ? I’ll add some pics of my favorite salads here, but they also have some really good meals (grilled steak tacos, Alfredo pasta, curry and rice, etc.)
