“First meal as newbies to town (NY-UT). Super happy this is around the corner. I got 2 over easy eggs , hash browns and toast. I loved the portion size , the hash browns are quite possibly the best I’ve ever had and the eggs cooked to perfection. The service is polite, timely and not overbearing.“

“This place is a gem if you can find it. Small, no frills food counter with outstanding breakfast and coffee. Machaca eggs and chicken fried steak and eggs were off the charts.

Parking: It's located above a trucking parts and service counter so parking is limited.“

“I called in today to see if they were open and a sweet girl named Leah took my call. She was just the best on the phone, and as we got there, another amazing girl with glasses, (didn't get her name) was just as awesome and sweet. Telling us about all the breads they had, and then Leah goes: You called about the white bread? I saved you a loaf.
Just THE nicest people work at this place. The girl in the glasses even offered my daughter a job there, but my daughter is only 12 .
Then my daughter said: once i'm old enough i want to work here, since they have such nice people.
From now on, Kneaders will be our go to bread place. We got some delicious white and wheat bread, and my daughter got a chocolate peanut butter dessert.

“I absolutely LOVE Rise By Good Day! Moving here frrom a town in IL just north of Chicago, I never expected to find quality kielbasa in UT... but low and behold, Rise By Good Day has saved my polish cravings and kept my stomach happy. You have to get the Weselna Kielbasa. It is my absolute favorite. You also cannot go wrong with pierogies either. Or the poppy seed bread. Or the polish apple pie. I also love trying all the other polish foods and snacks. The ketchup is my new go to. Don't get me started on the Paczki. That's a delicacy of its own. Stop in, you wont be disappointed. The service is amazing. The owner is so friendly, as are her staff. I cannot recommend this place enough. I am looking forward to them opening the new location in West Jordan and trying their pierogi pizza and kielbasa pizza. Mmm!!“

“I love this place! I go there after hard work days and get the chicken salad sandwiches and wassail. It instantly brightens my day. They have a wide variety of teas, including herbal, and it’s a wonderful experience to share with friends. I go in groups often too and had my birthday party here.

12/10 small business. The owners and staff are fantastic and deserve all the good things.“

“I live in Colorado and never heard of Alpha Coffee. I visited Salt Lake City, and friend recommended we meet at the downtown location. I ordered an "Aztec" and it was great. Something different, new and tasty for me. I liked the drink, the vibe and the servers ... the whole experience was great! I look forward to my next visit to SLC. “Took 5 kids and two adults on a slow Saturday lunch. The food was so good! We ordered family style and got the jambalaya, shrimp and grits, shrimp po boy, collard greens, and red beans and rice. I was worried at first about everyone getting enough to eat but everyone got their fill and it was delicious!!!“

It was 1.5 miles from the Koa where I was staying and I wasn’t sure if it was worth the walk, it’s got a great little coffee shop/ cafe, the food and drinks are nice, Edgar the barista is sooooo sweet and accommodating and the owners are really great. They have good speed internet to get some work done and even a play area for kids. The owners were so kind and welcoming! It was the best part of my visit to Salt Lake!“

“I absolutely love Cafe Shambala and highly recommend stopping by! Every time we host family or guests visiting, we bring them to eat here. Both the lunch buffet and the dinner menu are delicious. Our favorites are the spiced potatoes, the marinated chicken, the momos, and the traditional rice pudding dessert. My husband and I have never had less than a 5-star experience, especially with the excellent service. My only suggestion for improvement would be to more clearly post a drink menu during lunch, specifically for the refreshing mango lassi and other tasty drinks available. Last time I was there, the only posting of this information was a faded printer paper taped on the outside windows.“

“Im from Canada and everytime i travel, I try to get some BBQ. I've tried many places all around the Country and Salt City BBQ is by far the best BBQ in Utah. We had the lean and fatty brisket, OMG, the fatty had sooooo much flavor and the lean did not disappoint either. The turkey had an amazing smokey flavor and so tender. The BBQ sauce had a very nice sweet flavor but not over bearing on the sweet, just perfect. And the corn bread, OMG the best corn bread I've ever had, so fluffy and melt in your mouth. The owner was amazing and his staff as well. My buddy had the sausage and said it was the perfect blend of spices and cheese. The pork belly was so tender you don't even need teeth it'll just melt in your mouth. Give this place a try...IT WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!!!!“

They do have a drive thru but in my opinion the inside is way better and definitely gives off cafe vibes. People are usually hanging out inside and on top of all this they have great damn coffee l.“
