I live in Colorado and never heard of Alpha Coffee. I visited Salt Lake City, and friend recommended we meet at the downtown location. I ordered an "Aztec" and it was great. Something different, new and tasty for me. I liked the drink, the vibe and the servers ... the whole experience was great! I look forward to my next visit to SLC. I'll stop at Alpha again - to try the Poly! :)
The latte was the best I’ve had in a while, the maple especially.

I like the open windows /natural lighting.
Great spot for a coffee or a snack. Visiting frim Houston and this is one of thr best coffee shops I have been to the SLC area. Catching coffee after a morning hike to Mary and Martha Lakes hits right.

Alpha Coffee Cafe offers a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff, creating a bright and inviting space for customers. Their coffee is a solid 4-star, featuring flavorful and creamy options, including the Amazonian. Customers appreciate the fun combination ideas in their selection of signature drinks, as well as a standard coffee menu. Croissants are a delight, and the blueberry muffin is TO DIE for! The service is quick and friendly, making it a great spot to grab a bite and enjoy a cup of coffee. Additionally, there is a nice assortment of merchandise available for purchase, and the café provides free wifi and amazing sunlight for those looking to sit and work, particularly on the mezzanine floor. This place is delicious. The vanilla frappe was the perfect hit of coffee with the sweet notes of vanilla in each sip. The honey badger is a personal favorite. The staff is so nice and the atmosphere is perfect. Dogs are welcome, there’s always a doggy around! The Spartan was a good strong coffee drink. The Viking is the perfect fall drink and not too strong, a good cozy, hot drink perfect for fall. Alpha Coffee is one of the best. Great drinks, food, and excellent service. The scones are so soft! The Cleopatra is a favorite drink. Tons of seating makes it a great place to bring a laptop and get some work done. Check out the upstairs!
