The food was good. For the price, they should not have been out of anything. We were seated at 3pm and peo0le had been coming to settings since 10am. There were two dishes and two sides they were out of with trays sitting there empty. Also, they ran out of berry cobbler. The food was good, just a bit disappointed they didnt have everything refreshed and full for when we arrived. Very spendy.
What a view. This place has all kinds of fresh made food that hits the spot. Mix that with live music and sunset views. You are in for a treat!

Beautiful Sunday buffet brunch at the top of Snowbasin ski resort. Gondola up and down, fresh snow on the ground, a wide variety of well prepared fresh dishes, hot buffet trays, fruits and salads, chartruerie, and desserts. Tried a bit of the many offerings with a glass of sparkling wine. Beautiful mountain lodge setting, complete with alpen horns for Octoberfest.

This is a delightful experience. The food and service is good. If you go when there has been rain or snow, we suggest bringing something to sit on in the gondola. Snowbasin does not always close the windows in the car, and it is possible the seat in the gondola will be wet.
Beautiful buffet brunch at the top of Snowbasin ski resort. Gondola up and down, fresh snow on the ground, a wide variety of well prepared dishes and buffet foods.
The Sunday Brunch was amazing and the atmosphere was great. Was hoping to eat outside, but the recent storm put snow on the ground, and gratefully, they moved us indoors. I will try to make it back a week sooner next year to hopefully see more fall foliage.
The views were amazing. The wait staff was very friendly and was able to move us next to the window. There was a large variety of food. The prime rib melted in your mouth. You are definitely paying for the atmosphere but will be going back
We came around 2:30 and were able to eat both menu options of brunch and standard which o believe was really lucky. The food was so flavourful compared to other resort and park city-like locations that charge $100+ per person. This was some of the best turkey and prime rib I've ever had. To have this good of food in a buffet option speaks volumes.

Loved the Sunday Brunch! The pork medallions were terrific! The prime Rib was excellent! We enjoyed the chocolate dipped strawberries! Great service. Easy environment and low noise. Thank you!
Summer brunch at Needles Lodge is not to be missed at least once a year....fantastic food and drink, amazing lodge and views...what more could you ask for?!! Andy and his team are the best in the business!! Make sure to check out Snowbasin in the winter months as well for their amazing fondue, burgers and cocktails....top notch after a day on the slopes!

We had brunch at the Snow basin Resort (Needles Lodge) yesterday to celebrate my husband's early birthday and it was an outstanding experience. The gondola ride was included in the price for the brunch. The staff was friendly when we check in from the gondola ride to the restaurant reception. Of course the restaurant and location itself was top notch and the view from the lodge was magnificent. There was a variety of food to choose from at the Brunch and everything was laid out nicely in the dining area. The smoked prime rib, smoked turkey, shrimp cocktail was delicious as well as the eggs Benedict, waffles and everything that I tried was tasty. Our wait staff was Holly she was very attentive but not intrusive. She kept our coffee and tea refilled and everyone's drinks as well. The price wasn't too bad for the service, the food, location and everything was worth it. Will come back again during the summer for another brunch. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Didn't like sitting right next to the omelette table, while other tables were open away from it.
Weird billing experience (they charge you the full price through your server to encourage a larger tip, the server only brings you drinks, no food), our server started asking about payment the second time she refilled my drink, and we were asked to leave moments after we paid because "another group needed our table in 10 minutes", not sure if it was because she was upset we didn't tip based on their inflated total, or didn't order enough specialty drinks - there were open tables everywhere, we were at one of the smallest tables. The staff in general seemed annoyed to be there, portion sizes were small, and the more expensive food items were managed by staff. We didn't have time to try everything before we were ushered out. If there was some sort of hidden time limit, they didn't make that very clear. Honestly not worth the price tag all things considered, just come up and pay for the gondola / Oktoberfest separately.
The gondola ride was nice and the views are wonderful. The lodge has lovely bathrooms. Just don't pay for the brunch. Terribly overpriced.
I would say the food was average overall. There were a lot of choices, which at times felt a bit overwhelming. For the price point (around $86 per person, including the gondola ride up and back), it felt a little steep. While it is unlimited, I think if you're mainly going for the food, you could probably find other options with a similar view at a lower cost and save the gondola experience for something else. One nice highlight is that they make Eggs Benedict for you on the spot. However, it seemed like the process had changed—my egg looked more boiled than poached. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if that's something you're really looking forward to. Overall, if you want the full experience of the gondola ride paired with a wide variety of food, this could be worth it. If you're just after a great meal, there are probably better spots to choose from. Would I go back again? Probably not. For me, it was more of a one-time experience, and spending that much once was enough. Would I recommend it to friends? I guess so—if they're willing to spend around $230–$250 total (including tips and drinks) for the experience, then it might be worth trying at least once.
