SO FUN!!!!
Oh and the food really tastes like it came from Kansas City!!!!
Fantastic experience today. With all of the sauce being chilled I asked for my plate of frychos to be warmed a bit more and they did so quickly and happily. Amazing food, large portions, incredible staff. If you’re in Southern Utah and you don’t stop here, you are missing out on the best BBQ in the state hands down.

Lonny Boy's BBQ offers a delightful barbecue experience. The brisket is praised as exceptionally flavorful and was noted as being perfectly cooked by a recent customer. The BBQ beans are also a standout, with many enjoying their taste. The dill potato salad is a highlight, and the collard greens were described as great. Customers can try a bowl to sample their side dishes and enjoy a small ice-cream cone after the meal, which is included. While the service has been described as just okay, the restaurant is generally friendly. Some reports mentioned occasional delays and missing items in takeout orders. The brisket can sometimes be on the drier side, especially when lacking in the signature BBQ sauce, which one customer felt needed more than one sauce for the amount of meat. The menu includes a two meat plate with BBQ Chicken, which was highly praised. Customers also mentioned that the smoked meat requires time and dedication, making the meal a bit pricy but worth returning for. However, some dishes like the chicken wings and fried dill pickles did not meet expectations, with the wings possibly not being smoked and the pickles tasting greasy. Overall, Lonny Boy's BBQ remains a recommended destination for meat lovers seeking a tasty and satisfying barbecue meal.
