Very good food at a relative low price. All house made and fresh. Good wine and drink list. Nice Southwest cottage ambiance. The restaurant and adjacent bar have a hard close at 8PM. Service seems rushed to get everyone out by closing. Plenty of tables so reservation is probably not needed. Enjoy
Always our favorite spot tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Good food and a beautiful place.
I had the cauliflower tacos and they were yummy. My son had the Philly mushroom meal and was very happy with the taste...great fries! We'll definitely be coming back.
Great Experience! From the time we opened the door to walking out. Everyone was so polite and gracious. Our server was next level. Highly recommend to eat at this hidden treasure.🙏🏾
Favorite in St george area. Great food, staff, atmosphere.

Had a very enjoyable lunch and was very satisfied with everything. My only suggestion is to lighten up on the deep fry of the Brussel sprouts, they were overly greasy.
First...we've been out to Kayenta a few times, so knew where we were going, but when you arrive, the parking lot is a black hole. One small light over handicapped parking. Rest of it has ZERO lighting and asphalt changes to dirt with 2 inch drop. Totally dangerous walking in and out - had to use phone flashlights.
Anyway, after that, made our way to restaurant. Entered at 6pm on Tue night, only one other party in the whole place. It's rustic, which is fine, but slight tint of sewer smell my wife and I both noticed. NOT appealing at all. We decided to stay though and the smell eventually faded - still seemed to linger though. Not sure if it is just the 'old' smell of the place or what.
We had brussel sprout app (w/ bacon) - good but tbf Cliffside does it just a bit better.
Had a burger and french dip. Burger was 1/2 pound and come with like a pound of fries. We both really liked our sandwiches and I couldn't even finish the burger.
They were very fast - makes sense with almost nobody there. One, maybe two more tables, showed up while we were there, but never got busier.
My wife has been here several times with gal friends. Always warmer and they sit outside. On a later and cooler night, being inside with that smell wasn't great, so reccomend going when you can sit outdoors.
I think next time we will try the Rustic Cactus, their sister restaurant on the other side of the wall/building. Some of the same menu items, but some differences, and just looking for a little better ambience.
Overall, food was tasty and value was good. Bill was $50-60 for us both, I think. Just don't go after dark without a good flashlight, and hope for a better aroma.

We've been to the area many times but this was our first stop out at Kayenta. So we had to try out Xetava for lunch. My wife and I both had a wonderful meal, the food was delicious and fresh plus the scenery was awesome. A big plus was a roadrunner came to visit us at our table. We will return!

We have eaten here for years! Noticed that the quality of the food has really gone down hill in the last year! Xetava used to be our favorite local restaurant. We thought we would try it one more time. We ordered the breakfast burrito's. They were so salty that both my husband and I just ate a few bites and were done. The side were grapes. You really can't mess up grapes! They were so soft/ old, that we thought of giving them to the goats in Ivins. Server never came back to check on us. Restaurant wasn't busy at all. I guess we will try Latitude for brunch next time. REALY too bad because we love the atmosphere at Xetava. And we love to support our community.
Sadly changing my review to 3 stars now with the new ownership and their changes.
They have gotten rid of almost all the dishes we used to love. And they no longer are very clear in what is/isn’t gluten free. Their portion sizes are also significantly smaller and their prices higher.
Used to be one of our favorites we’d regularly go to for special occasions, not anymore 😞

We ate outside in great weather! Food was wonderful and service relatively quick as it was busy. We weren't in a hurry. Nice ambiance.
Right when we were greeted, from the atmosphere and chill vibes, gave me a wonderful evening . Service was top notch and I will be returning 🌟

Every time we come to St. George, we make sure to book at least 2 meals here. The location is so beautiful and peaceful. I love the little art village. Our favorite dish is the dill Salmon. We also like the kayenta burger and the pork quesadilla. The fries that come with the burger really aren't anything special or great, maybe even stale. Love the street corn.
I love everything about this place.
Great food. Always so fresh tasting.
The grilled Ceasar salad is so good.

Not too long ago this was an amazing place to dine- the food was delicious and the menu offered a variety of unique dishes and the outdoor eating garden was beautifully planted. Sadly today that is no longer the case. I ordered the chicken piccata which came cold and smothered with a tasteless sauce. What a shame they don't know how to plate a breaded chicken dish for this type of restaurant. Very disappointed. One time mishap perhaps?
