“This is the best steak ? I have ever! If you are looking for a dining experience never to be forgotten this is it. This may be one of the best restaurants in Utah.”
“We went to Canyon Breeze restaurant at the Red Mountain Resort last night with a party of 7. The whole evening was delightful. The menu has improved and the service was friendly, knowledgeable and because it was busy, it was timed and explained. The Cocktail menu was very creative and the wine and beer selection was very good. We had 2 dishes of shareable plates and the taste and presentation was worthy and delicious. The main course I had was the Salmon and it was beautifully presented, delicious and filling. We will be back….”
“Butter chicken was delicious along with the garlic naan. Appetizer of the sampler plate- I'd get one of them, instead of all 3. They all taste the same. It was delicious ?Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible, have handicap tables and handicap parkings spots with ramp. No stairs”
“Andrew was so friendly and helpful! Also my waitress was very accommodating. I love this place!Dietary restrictions: Lots of options Gluten free & dairy free !GOOD CLEAN FOOD!”
“Pastries and donuts are amazing! One of my favorite key lime pies I’ve ever had. Only drawbacks of this place is they are a little pricey and can get really crowded, but they do move the line well.”
“Advisory/Recommendation: personally I own no children. But if you are in possession of some, this place definitely has gremlins eating well and sitting down. The grilled cheese was on a sour dough, well baked and even keeled. Like yknow when the bread gets too greasy and you’re like, I love cheese but I’m good thanks? None of that here. The cheese retained its heat after sitting for about 8mins, since I had to eat my rice bowl.Elected to choose the Buddha. Why? It felt like it had the rice blend of greens and the homemade sauce. Plus, I don’t think I needed to eat lunch or dinner after the bowl. It erased the general hunger you’d associate with rabbit food. So great cooking choices by the cafe. And, almost not needing mention, the coffee is an easy win. There are times I wonder why I’d buy coffee on the road when I have a coffee bar at home. And this is why. They do it that much better”
“Wonderful server named Maree was very attentive to tables needs. Food was amazing phenomenal portions for the price. Atmosphere was a good mixture of classic and modern with a cute robot going around singing happy birthday!”
“The inside of the restaurant is a bit bland, but everything else was awesome! Food was outstanding, service was great, and even the kids enjoyed the chicken. I completely forgot to get a picture of the food, but I'm planning on returning many times, so I'll get it next time. I had the combination plate and my wife had the chicken kabob plate.”
“Tasty barbeque, the brisket and pulled pork were good, but the chicken by the quarter was probably the best chicken I've ever had, well seasoned, immensely moist and juicy, but with a crispy skin. The wings were also great, but perhaps a bit salty. The sauces were pretty tasty, I would like to see the chicken wing sauce as an option for the other meat, as well though. The Mac and cheese was ok, nothing incredible, but nice to have a creamy option with how spicy it can get. The cut seasonal fruit with tajin and chamoy was delicious. The service was moderate to good, I think they may have been a little short when we visited, as only one person was doing serving, and another was doing check out making the wait take longer than it should have (about 30 minutes), but everyone was very friendly, and happy to answer questions. The menu offers meat by the half pound (they weigh it and charge you accordingly) so I think you could probably get less than half a pound if you are nice. The price was a little more than I expected, and relatively high for Saint George, but you get a fair amount of food as well. The atmosphere is mediocre, the design style is decent, but the music was obnoxious and with everything else it was a bit of sensory overload. It's also a unfortunate that everything is plastic while dining in. Not a very eco-friendly meal.Would not recommend to vegetarians, or especially vegans, as very little food would be appropriate. Probably not the best for young children either, as even the least spicy sauce has some kick - but most any adult will enjoy it. Way better than any other BBQ in the area.Vegetarian options: Very few vegetarian options, just side dishes, all main entrees are meat based.Mac and cheese, coleslaw, rice, and cut fruit with spices are your only vegetarian options.”
“I really appreciated the way Gabe served us! He’s always on top of refills, checking in on us, etc. You can tell he enjoys working here and is not just here for the paycheck! Best seafood spot i’ve been too! Highly recommend!”
“I've ordered a slice of their delicious chocolate truffle cheesecake for the last couple of days (doordash). Today, they sent the slice with a free pint of ice cream and note attached. Mary's kindness and time taken to write a personalized note meant the world! Thank you guys for all you do!”
“Picture perfect. Delicious as always. The service was great. They let my wife try lots of flavors until she found the one we liked. It even had a drive thru. Parking lot was a little tight.Parking: A little tight and hard to navigate around the drive thru.”
“We had a most pleasant dinner. Our waitress Tee was just delightful. Very knowlegdeable and entertaining. Worth the visit just for her service. Highly recommend trying Aragosta”
“Do not miss out on their smoked chicken, it is the best I’ve ever had! Ammon made it a point to answer any and all questions that I had about their menu. Prices are fair, and comparable to what you’d see in Vegas. That being said, quality and service of the food was better.I quite enjoyed being outside, though it was a cool and windy day. We showed up around 1:30, and by then, they were already sold out of their ribs and pulled pork. That was our mistake, we forgot about the time difference!Sides were excellent, and their house bbq sauce was a nice mix of smoky, tart, but thin ketchup based. The smoked mac and cheese was flavorful, and not greasy, and their cheesy potatoes were nice, if you’re a fan of scalloped style potatoes. I personally am, so I was pleased about itThe sauce complemented everything, and I was incredibly impressed with the bark on both their flat and point ends of the brisket. A lot of the families eating near us seemed to love the loaded nachos, which fed three adults that were sharing it.I’d definitely come back (earlier), just to take a few combo plates home!Parking: Gravel/rock lot, next to a building with paved parking.”
“What a hidden gem! Fresh, fabulous and fun food. Delicious beet Burrata and flatbreads. Reasonably priced including $5 wine options. Don't miss this place....”
“Used to think this place was a little strange but then I tried the phoenix lemonade and it's legit the best thing I think I've ever drank. Also to that one person who was complaining about 3 buck coffee... where you gonna get coffee for any cheaper than that? Also the breakfast burrito at the other one was pretty good.”
“Jeremy, the bartender, was fantastic. He educated us on the ways of Utah's rules and regs (all new to us), recommended great beer (loved the Agua Fresca!), and solid bar food. What could have been a humdrum stop became a delightful interlude.”
“PHENOMENAL. Food far surpassed my expectations. Service was perfectly on point and Brian was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and pairing suggestions. Best restaurant in the area by far.”
“Stopped by for lunch. I ordered a Thai ice coffee and the Pad Thai no spice. Pad was very good. One of the best I’ve had in Utah. It was savory and noodles were soft. Whenever I’m in the area again I’d love to try other items on their menu.”
“this might be my new fav place in St. George! ordered the drunken noodles and yellow curry lunch special - both were so flavorful and well-portioned! the ladies working out front were so lovely as well. look forward to coming back!”
“I really enjoy this amazing place! Their food always taste so fresh and delicious! I got the chicken tacos. I’m not the biggest fan of their matcha but everything else is absolutely perfect! I highly recommend this place! Music is very kid friendly and the atmosphere is very peaceful! I can’t wait to come back to try more things. The only other note I have is that it’s to hit in the restaurant then need to make it cooler!Kid-friendliness: Their music is very kid friendly and the environment feels clean and comfortable.”
“I absolutely love sitting outside this place. They have created such a pleasant experience. We had the Korean BBQ tacos, which are spicy and so good. The meat was marinated perfectly! We also had the Wachos, which are waffle fries nachos. They had jalapeños, but they could be removed. They served the cheese separately, so we were able to eat them for dinner and breakfast the next day without getting soggy. Love this place!!”
“The food was great, and Id go back. The kitchen seemed like it was run by 3-4 abuelitas--super nice. The place is small, so plan to wait a bit or sit outside. The tables outside weren't the cleanest, but it wasn't a problem. I'll definitely go back if I'm in St. George. The food was good, and the place was filled with locals. We were there on a Tuesday evening and they were slammed/busy during dinner.”
“wow! i never write reviews but the food is amazing! i got the jerk pork and it was delicious. i am a picky eater. my sister and her friend got the penne with shrimp and pork and said it was the best they had ever had. i love the bob marley themed environment!”
“This place is pretty amazing esp if u go in the evening call ahead and get a window table so u can see all The neat lights at night And the steak and lobster is delicious !”
“After a few years, revisiting St. George and the charming ambiance of Painted Pony restaurant felt nostalgic, yet familiar. The culinary experience remained consistent, with dishes expertly presented, though we encountered a minor hiccup with the bone-in pork chop, which arrived undercooked despite ordering it medium. However, the swift correction by the attentive server ensured our satisfaction. Our culinary journey included indulging in the delightful phyllo-baked brie appetizer, a refreshing salad, and the flavorful Airline chicken. We savored each sip of the impeccably crafted Cadillac margarita, a highlight of the evening, along with the locally sourced Sauvignon Blanc, which complemented our meal splendidly. Despite a slight awkwardness in our server's demeanor during drink orders, possibly due to an unusual prevalence of patrons opting for water, the overall experience was pleasant. Revisiting after such a long hiatus evoked fond memories, yet we might allow a bit more time before our next visit.”
“Firstly, Heidi is amazing. I’ve never felt so welcomed and important as a customer. She’s fun, warm, and she make us feel really good. Ask for Heidi. She deserves a raise. The food is delicious.”
“Food is good. I was able to order a stir fry that fit in with my dietary needs. The lady who took our order was cute and helpful. Everyone in our group enjoyed their choices and they were all generous servings.”
“A great place to enjoy the desert scenery outdoors! One of the only places to sit outdoors with a view in the Saint George/ Ivins area. If you can score the fire place table outside. I often bring friends in town that are visiting because of the view after hiking or biking in snow canyon. We recently came this past weekend and our server Presley was upbeat and helpful making our experience amazing. I gave 4 stars for the food as I visit often it would be great to have some specials or new vegetarian options on the menu. It would be great also to have mocktails at the cafe as well. Currently only blended lemonade is the drink for non drinkers or soda ?. Overall a wonderful stop to enjoy the view and grab a bite.Vegetarian options: Kayenta Burger has an impossible patty option, Brussels and fries, cauliflower tacos, beet salad. If you have a gluten allergy like me the burger and tacos can be lettuce wrapped.”
