“This place is phenomenal. We came unintentionally on prom night, and they were busy, but we had no issue waiting because we really wanted to try this place out. We just hung out in our car until they texted us. We got the text and went in and were sat in a very nice private area and were taken care of by John immediately. He was very attentive and helpful as well as just incredibly pleasant the whole time we were there. Our orders came to our table very quickly and were actually some of the best food either of us has ever had. To be honest, we were a little starstruck the whole time and couldn't really believe it was all real. This place is fantastic. Most definitely would make the trip all over just to eat here again.TLDR: Fantastic hostesses, amazing servers, phenomenal food, a must try if you are patient enough for the wait time, which trust me, you should be for this place.”

“Advisory/Recommendation: personally I own no children. But if you are in possession of some, this place definitely has gremlins eating well and sitting down.The grilled cheese was on a sour dough, well baked and even keeled. Like yknow when the bread gets too greasy and you’re like, I love cheese but I’m good thanks? None of that here. The cheese retained its heat after sitting for about 8mins, since I had to eat my rice bowl.Elected to choose the Buddha. Why? It felt like it had the rice blend of greens and the homemade sauce. Plus, I don’t think I needed to eat lunch or dinner after the bowl. It erased the general hunger you’d associate with rabbit food. So great cooking choices by the cafe.And, almost not needing mention, the coffee is an easy win. There are times I wonder why I’d buy coffee on the road when I have a coffee bar at home. And this is why. They do it that much better”

“My mom (whose name is also Mary ?) had my husband and I pick up an order of Mary’s minis - best sellers (2 dozen) for my dad’s birthday party. We were greeted by Mary herself who is So kind and bubbly! We were new customers so we were both offered a free mini off of the top shelf! I had the cookie butter and my husband had the salted caramel (which we highly recommend the salted caramel!!) My husband and I came back AGAIN a couple days later to surprise his family with an assortment of Mary’s minis. (Lemon, original, white chocolate raspberry, salted caramel, chocolate truffle, and kitkat). Everyone in our families LOVED the cheesecakes and some are planning to have Mary’s Cheesecakes in part of their future plans with friends, it’s just that good! We’re happy for Mary, her success and her expansion. Will definitely visit every time we are in Southern Utah!”

We both indulged in the "James Way" Banh Mi Sandwich, boasting a delightful assortment of cucumbers, lettuce, ham, and Asiago cheese, which left us thoroughly satisfied. Opting for a to-go order, our dessert selection included a heavenly array of treats: crème brûlée, cheesecake, coconut macaroons, cannoli, triple chocolate mousse, and an intriguing Asiago, basil, and roasted red peppers quiche. Despite the bustling atmosphere with people coming and going, the service remained commendable, and the staff were notably friendly. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and we left with contented palates and smiles on our faces.”

“I like the atmosphere of that restaurant, lost among that cluster of disparate food establishments. We were promptly seated, chose a well aged Spanish Rioja 2012 and placed our order. The diligent waitress delivered some nice “no knead bread”probably a mix of corn and wheat flour with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The carrot/Jalapeño pepper soup with crispy toast was excellent. My curried mussels, reminiscent of the French Charente mouclade, was enjoyable, although the mussels sea flavour had to fight the over powering coconut milk and its sweetness. The boeuf short ribs, just meat, no bone, was well braised, delicious! The grilled brine pork chop (requested rosé) was well done, a bit too dry, bland despite the brining. The tomato relish smoked flavour had vanished by the time it reached our table, the stuffed bleu cheese, of unknown pedigree, and the pear flavour had to fight for existence with the cinnamon spice. The cornbread pudding was pleasant. It puzzled me that a so well aged bottle of wine was not delivered and opened with a bit more careful etiquette, luckily there was no deposit and may be smelling the cork would ensure the wine is not corked. We love the Frette napkins we had noticed during our pre-covid dinner, a sign of class but the food and service was down graded a couple of notches compared to the experience with the last owners. Maybe youth has to mature a bit, still a nice experience….”

“I absolutely love sitting outside this place. They have created such a pleasant experience. We had the Korean BBQ tacos, which are spicy and so good. The meat was marinated perfectly! We also had the Wachos, which are waffle fries nachos. They had jalapeños, but they could be removed. They served the cheese separately, so we were able to eat them for dinner and breakfast the next day without getting soggy. Love this place!!”

“The food was great, and Id go back. The kitchen seemed like it was run by 3-4 abuelitas--super nice. The place is small, so plan to wait a bit or sit outside. The tables outside weren't the cleanest, but it wasn't a problem. I'll definitely go back if I'm in St. George. The food was good, and the place was filled with locals. “I can recommend you try this place. First off, the service was fantastic. Thank you Marabel and Blake ! My wife had the filet with a side salad and a baked potato. The filet was cooked perfectly. The potato was so big we split it and still couldn't finish it. I ordered the pork chop with sides of spinach and green beans. The pork chop started out okay, but by the time I was 3 or 4 slices in it started to dry out. I couldn't finish it because it was just too dry. I only knocked on star off because it is near impossible to get a pork chop at any restaurant that is still juicy. They just dry out too fast. The spinach was delicious, the green beans were nothing special. Just green beans. I was hoping maybe they would be cooked with some bacon and maybe some chopped onion. But they were still edible. All in all it was a good experience at a fair price.”

“Haven't been to Del Taco in ages due to the skimpy tacos and burritos I received last time. There was maybe a teaspoon or two of meat, hardly any lettuce or cheese and burritos were a flour tortilla with a couple of teaspoons of beans. Recently I was on my way home from an appointment and I was in the mood for tacos so I decided to stop by Del Taco. Not really expecting much, I was pleasantly surprised when I got home and my kids and I dug into our Fiesta Pack. The tacos and burritos were Fantastic! Just the right amount of meat, cheese, lettuce and the burritos had plenty of beans. Whoever was on the lunch crew on March 15th during the lunch hour...Great job! The Fiesta Pack (I initially thought) was a little pricey but it was Absolutely worth every penny. Five stars! ?”

Prices are fair, and comparable to what you’d see in Vegas. That being said, quality and service of the food was better.I quite enjoyed being outside, though it was a cool and windy day. We showed up around 1:30, and by then, they were already sold out of their ribs and pulled pork. That was our mistake, we forgot about the time difference!Sides were excellent, and their house bbq sauce was a nice mix of smoky, tart, but thin ketchup based. The smoked mac and cheese was flavorful, and not greasy, and their cheesy potatoes were nice, if you’re a fan of scalloped style potatoes. “I imagine a 5 star chef pulling the oatmeal cookie out at the perfect temperature and then perhaps putting a little torch to the top just to add a little extra crisp to it but the inside is still perfectly soft and not doughy…I don’t know how to describe these cookies other than to say they are delicious and not at all like the competition in that they taste original and homemade all in the same bite…If the Sloth brand were to participate in the cookie wars happening in Northern Utah, they would win!”

“I am updating a bad review that I gave Zao 2 days ago. I ordered and paid online, picked up my food at the appointed time, drove back home and discovered a missing item. There is no number listed in their website or in their receipts attached to the food. So I couldn’t call the manager but instead sent an email. It took about 2 hours but Eva, the manager, called me after reading the email. During that 2 hour period, I’d rated the whole shebang poorly and especially the lack of attention/customer service and inability to talk to someone immediately. Eva made it right. She refunded the cost of the missing banh mi AND offered me a complementary banh mi when it was convenient for me. Sure enough, my name was on a list for the complementary wrap and the employees who made it happen couldn’t have been more gracious. The wrap was very good. Thank you, Eva and crew! I will return!”

NONE you should know that about buffets, and not leave a bad review because they didn't cater to your stupidity.”

“I can recommend you try this place. First off, the service was fantastic. Thank you Marabel and Blake ! My wife had the filet with a side salad and a baked potato. The filet was cooked perfectly. The potato was so big we split it and still couldn't finish it. I ordered the pork chop with sides of spinach and green beans. The pork chop started out okay, but by the time I was 3 or 4 slices in it started to dry out. I couldn't finish it because it was just too dry. I only knocked on star off because it is near impossible to get a pork chop at any restaurant that is still juicy. They just dry out too fast. The spinach was delicious, the green beans were nothing special. Just green beans. I was hoping maybe they would be cooked with some bacon and maybe some chopped onion. But they were still edible. All in all it was a good experience at a fair price.”

We had the Sausage and Linguini and the White Pizza.
