I believe Cracker Barrel has really upped their game. We have patronized it a few times lately and the portions have gotten quite a bit bigger and most of the food has been great. Sometimes, I might run into something that could have been better, but for the most part, I have been very satisfied with the food and the new portion sizes. We will continue patronizing this place.
We ordered the meatloaf lunch special which included mashed potatoes and one side listed below the specials. We chose the house salad. The server was efficient and attentive. She said we could choose another side. We pointed out the menu said only one. She told us she usually worked the evening shift. Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is a welcoming restaurant that offers a range of options, including a lunch menu and breakfast sides. The food is generally good, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. They have a very large gift store with womens dresses, jewelry, tshirts and seasonal toys & gifts. They also have rocking chairs in front of the store that you can sit in while you wait. They have lots of comfort food and big portions. The place was clean and the staff was friendly, making the dining experience pleasant. It is also RV traveler friendly.
