“This is an awesome place to go and eat. The atmosphere is very calm and easy to enjoy. The fact that it allows you to choose your type of eating and what food you are in the mood for on the menu, you will have your pricing and the rest is on how you want to make things. I love bbq (hotpot is good, but I love the grill) so I got a lot of brisket and chicken. The kids LOOOOVED the spring rolls, so they got about 6 orders of them 🤭🤷‍♂️ (the owner was very nice and had some fun with our kids). But the best thing about this place is you can come for a calming time or a time of a life time with friends and family. You deserve to give this place a try“

“My wife and I are new to the St. George area and we looked around for a special restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. We decided on the Painted Pony and we were so pleased that we did. Everything about the Painted Pony spoke to quality from the greeting we received at the entrance to the very pleasant waiter and most importantly the food was first class as well. We were so pleased that we returned a second time for Christmas eve. Five stars !!“

“I just ordered the Pollo Angelo through DoorDash tonight, and it was hands down the best meal I've had in years! The flavor profile was absolutely incredible. The white wine sauce was elegant and refined—not like the basic cooking wine flavor you often find elsewhere. It had a depth and character that reminded me more of a quality Blanc. The mushrooms brought a rich, earthy flavor without that "dirty" taste some restaurants struggle with, and the subtle hints of lemon and white pepper came through beautifully. Everything was perfectly balanced. The chicken was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. The mushrooms were cooked to perfection—firm yet delicate, never slimy or mushy. Every bite was outstanding. I honestly can't say enough good things about this dish. Everyone else loved their meals also. Zero complaints only praise!“

The atmosphere is okay, although the exterior of the restaurant could definitely use an update and a little more attention. One thing that gives me additional peace of mind is that their most recent health inspection report, issued in February 2026, was excellent. I think obtaining and reviewing health inspection reports is a great idea when choosing a restaurant, as it provides customers with valuable information about cleanliness and food safety.“

“Walked right in for dinner on a Friday night. There was plenty of seating and service was good. We ordered the drunken noodles, mango curry, and basil spring rolls. Overall, the food was very good. The drunken noodles were the highlight of our visit. The mango curry was a little bland. On previous visits, we have tried the red curry (yum) and the pad Thai, which definitely isn't their best dish. Overall, for the cost we enjoyed our meal and would not hesitate to return.“

“I must say the soup here is excellent. Most of the food is appetizing also and I know the owner personally. I see the reviews and I know why they are sometimes lower with the inaccurate hours and or perceived rude service. I think sometimes you have to know someone's personality before passing such harsh judgement on them. Everyone is different.“

“Great place to go! Convenience and excellent food. You don't normally associate a Chinese restaurant and a sports bar, but it works! We went there on a Sunday for lunch, and it was very crowded, but we were able to be seated right away. Service was a little bit slow, and after we got our food, no one checked up on us to see how it was or to refill our soda, but we enjoyed our experience. Great portion size and very tasty! I highly recommend this place as a great new spot to go in St George!“

“I believe Cracker Barrel has really upped their game. We have patronized it a few times lately and the portions have gotten quite a bit bigger and most of the food has been great. Sometimes, I might run into something that could have been better, but for the most part, I have been very satisfied with the food and the new portion sizes.
