I have driven by this place many times. Every time saying next time I'll stop. Today was the day. I'm glad I did. We got waiting on right away. Drinks came quickly. Food came quickly. Food was very good!!! Our waitress was busy, She didn't check on us after the Food was served. I got the glass of water I asked for before the food came out, after We finished eating. I used the glass that my Jack and Coke came in to go to the bathroom sink to get some water. Everything else was great! My bison burger was on the medium rare side. Just the way I like it. I liked the coleslaw. I'll be back.

It's too bad. This place is a nice location and has potential but today's visit was met with a rushed waiter and rude actually (Jimmy). We were understanding that it would take a long time because of what appeared to be an understaffed situation; however, it could have been made up with getting the right order out but more importantly a fully cooked burger. Three of the burgers were completely raw in the middle. I was so hungry I didn't even check mine but it was probably raw. We heard the staff indicating that they were out of fish and burgers. Be thankful they are out of burgers because the cooks didn't know the minimum cooking time for burgers. You've got a crown jewel location and huge potential but you're squandering it with terrible service and poor cook training. We're not tourists. I've been by this place 200 times and today was the first and last time.
I recently dined at The Notch and had one of the worst experiences I've ever encountered. The service was unbelievably slow, with no acknowledgement from any of the staff and a waiter who seemed completely disinterested and apathetic. We had to go to the bar ourselves to get cups for the water pitchers left on our table and when we did get actual drinks they were never refilled. To make matters worse, our $20 burgers arrived raw and when we mentioned it, the waiter whose name was Jimmy simply shrugged and said, "Oh well." Only half of the table ever got utensils and it took nearly an hour to get the check so we could just get out of there. Did I mention no paper towels in the bathroom? Bottom line, I would not recommend this place to anyone.
