Nice little pitstop in picturesque Kanab. Basic hamburgers and such, but the shakes certainly hot the spot (I got Oreo) and the place has a pleasant small town-everybody-knows-everybody vibe. Thanks for welcoming us in for a burger and fries.

Has to be good because it's next door to MickyDs. Fresh made food not premade. Try the milk shakes

Great independent burger joint. Burger and fries were both excellent. Very good milkshakes as well.

As two moms traveling with three kids (ages 10, 8, and 7), finding a place that everyone agrees on can be tricky—but Big Al’s Burgers was such a hit, we ended up eating there two days in a row! It was so good, we even made the drive back from Page, AZ, just to eat there again. Totally worth it. The burgers were delicious—fresh, juicy, and cooked just right. The kids devoured theirs without a single complaint (which says a lot), and the adults were just as happy. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly, and we also tried some shakes, which were thick, creamy, and exactly what you want after a day of hiking or adventuring. The atmosphere was super friendly and relaxed—family-friendly without being chaotic—and the staff was kind, patient, and helpful. Even with a bunch of hungry kids in tow, we felt completely comfortable and welcomed. Whether you’re passing through Kanab or staying nearby, don’t miss Big Al’s. It’s the kind of place that hits the spot after a day outdoors, and the kind of food you’ll still be thinking about the next day (which is exactly why we came back). Great food, great people, and a great stop for families!
Great thing I like about Big Al's is their bison burgers. They have great shakes as well. Atmosphere is very clean.

A great little hamburger joint with prompt service and excellent food!
We were there in the middle of the lunch rush, but my bison burger was still ready within a few minutes. The price was similar to the McDonald's next door, but with much higher quality burgers and fries, bigger shakes, and more local flavor.
Kid-friendliness: They've got great little kids meals with little cookies for dessert.

Sorry for the blurry outside photo, I didn't realize it was blurry and now I'm not in that area.
Great pit stop for a fast burger. Great prices and portion sizes. I had a small burger, small tater tots and purchased a small dip, $7
