“We stopped by for lunch after hiking in the area. Delightful and delicious way to refuel. Salad bar included tofu, garbanzo, black bean and edamame! Five dollars! So great to have so many protein options. Can access by either north or south location. We explored the area after lunch. Nice people and cause. And the view from patio is worth going on it's own. “As two moms traveling with three kids (ages 10, 8, and 7), finding a place that everyone agrees on can be tricky—but Big Al’s Burgers was such a hit, we ended up eating there two days in a row! It was so good, we even made the drive back from Page, AZ, just to eat there again. Totally worth it. The burgers were delicious—fresh, juicy, and cooked just right. The kids devoured theirs without a single complaint (which says a lot), and the adults were just as happy. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly, and we also tried some shakes, which were thick, creamy, and exactly what you want after a day of hiking or adventuring. The atmosphere was super friendly and relaxed—family-friendly without being chaotic—and the staff was kind, patient, and helpful. Even with a bunch of hungry kids in tow, we felt completely comfortable and welcomed. Whether you’re passing through Kanab or staying nearby, don’t miss Big Al’s. It’s the kind of place that hits the spot after a day outdoors, and the kind of food you’ll still be thinking about the next day (which is exactly why we came back). Great food, great people, and a great stop for families!”

“I love that Kanab has such a wonderful offering…Asava!!! I stop by multiple times whenever I’m in town. The smoothies are outstanding, and nothing beats a green juice for energy on a long hike. 😊 I can’t recommend them highly enough, and I’m so glad to see that they’ve been successful!”

“If you're ever in Kanab, UT, and don't stop by Giff's, you're basically a BBQ traitor. I mean, their BBQ is so good, it'll make you wanna slap your mama. I had the brisket, peppered pork ribs, Dutch potatoes, and peach cobbler, and let me tell you, it was all ridiculously delicious. The meat just fell off the bone, the brisket was juicy and smoky, and the cobbler was the perfect cherry on top. As a Texan, I know good BBQ, and I'm here to tell you, Giff's is the real deal. I'd endorse it any day of the week, and twice on Sundays.”

“The $6.99 lunch buffet was a great deal for our family. Some of the kids ate pizza, some of the kids ate salad, and some of them ate chicken noodle soup.

“We love their saying... Gourmet Food. Casual Dining. Our first time dining there, and now our favorite. The Trout, perfect. The Rib Eye, outside. Table next to us had the Bison and said it is a must for our next visit. Even the salad, with homemade dressing was a hit. The service was the best. We HIGHLY recommend Rocking V Cafe.”

“I've been going to Jakey's since day one. best coffee in town, daily made bagels (get there early as the sell out daily), as well as breakfast and a lunch menu. free wifi, friendly staff - makes this place to go. it is small with limited indoor and outdoor seating. If you're on the go to a national park, monument, ATV ride, hike, the lake or just traveling thru - make Jakey's your morning stop”

“My daughter and I love this place! The kanab pharmacy is connected to that has a ln amazing gift shop, items from kitchen stuff to toys to bath bombs and also lotions. They also have a beautiful artwork piece outside that we love to take pictures with.”

“Overall I'd recommend Sego. There was a great selection of choices that are easily shared. Our party had a great time and enjoyed everything. If there are two minor knits, I was sharing the filet with another person who wanted it medium. It definitely came out medium rare at best (and it's served cut up so it was obvious) so I'd expect a restaurant presenting itself as high end to not miss that. They did fix it immediate once I pointed it out, so it was fine. The whole explanation of the restaurant is a social blah blah blah platform felt pretentious in my opinion. All that being said, I'd still recommend it and would consider going back if I returned to the area and had more than a few nights there.”

“Stopped in for lunch with my Neice. She ordered the Mac and cheese and I ordered the Bacon Western burger. They were delicious! Best I have had in a long time. Our waitress was awesome. The whole staff was very friendly! I would highly recommend stopping in and enjoy a meal and great people!”
