So let me state up front. I am not Vegan. I was dragged here by my wife. What a SURPRISE!!! The $5 buffet was awesome and the food was amazing. The view from the outside dining area had fantastic views. We will come back as we enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere with the views. This is a diamond in the rough. A must stop if you are in the area. Just know the buffet is only available from 11 am to 1 pm.
To be so honest the only reason I'm getting it four stars is because best friends is a great place and it only costs $5 . The food is.... tolerable. It's fine that the food is all vegan and makes sense for where it is. But 60% of it is just Bland vegetables that are mushy or fake meat. Im not a picky person but i was choking down some of the food. The tofu was weird. The only thing that was actually good not just tolerable was the couscous salad and pita. Incredible location with beautiful views, delicious food, only $5 per person, and one incredible mission to save and adopt as many animals as possible. I’m so grateful they are open to the public. We had one of the most tasty meals here. It’s all vegetarian and I wasn’t sure I’d like everything since I’m not vegetarian but now I know I can be vegetarian if I ate here consistently.
