Pizza with vegan sausage and vegan cheese

ElissaBVegan

Excellent vegan pizzas and nice salads. They have other vegan dishes including pastas, but we stuck to the pizzas. This place was started by some of the Best Friends Animal Society founders and doesn’t serve any meat. Best dinner vegan options in town.

There were a lot of vegan option or items, which could easily veganized. We had garlic breads as starter and 2 pizzas as main. While you could taste, that things were homemade, the garlic vread missed some salt. Also the pizza dough was a bit tasteless and the 2 pizzas were too dry, quite a bit was burnt (pretty much all tomatoes) and the price was quite hight. The three items without drinks were 56 usd.

There’s not a lot of options in the area so it does the job. Food was good not amazing. The service was mediocre. They were sold out of a lot of vegan stuff and also the waitress couldn’t care less about taking our order.

The pizza is always good, special shoutout to the loaded sidewinder fries and the garlic knots as well.

Go for the nachos.

I was pretty disappointed with this spot. The menu had a note that vegan options were available (very cool), so I asked if a certain pizza could be made vegan. The waitress said that it could. She brought the pizza out, told me it had a ricotta sauce on it, and asked if that was ok or if it needed to be re-made. I didn't want to waste the food, so I ate it. It's the first time I've eaten cheese in almost seven years. I hope you'll consider providing better training to staff on the importance of honoring vegan dietary preferences, especially since you have so many vegans in the area. Thank you!

Don’t be fooled - this restaurant connected to a small motel is top notch! The atmosphere is relaxed, but the service is wonderful and the food is amazing! After a day of hiking at Zion, my husband and I were seated promptly and had a beer and the cocktail of the day in our hands within a couple of minutes. Our server, Parthy, made excellent suggestions, and the Hot Mess pizza (12”) and the Panzanella salad were again at our table within a few minutes and were both delicious - and sufficient for two hungry people. We did have room for the seasonal cheesecake and the vegan carrot cake, which my husband said was the best he’s ever tasted. And last but definitely not least, the decaf latte (La Colombo coffee) was out of this world! This restaurant is a reason to return to Kanab!

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with this restaurant. I had high expectations, as it came highly recommended for its pizza. However, the margherita pizza I ordered was so burnt on the underside that it overpowered the entire flavor.

The cheesecake was also disappointing—it didn’t compare to what you’d get at Costco, which says a lot. My lunch companion enjoyed her pizza, but the double chocolate cake she ordered was another letdown. It tasted stale and had the texture of something that had been sitting uncovered in a fridge for days.

Overall, the inconsistency in food quality was concerning. While some dishes might be enjoyable, the experience was too hit-or-miss for me to recommend.

The food was absolutely amazing and there is a fantastic drink selection. My husband and I split a couple of food items to try: garlic parm bites, Peekaboo Pear pizza, and the Grand burger (you select either an impossible patty, beyond patty, or a portabella cap). All of the food was just fantastic and if you're needing a place to eat, absolutely go there. Make sure to call ahead of time because there could be a wait.
My only complaint is about the door, so warning if you're sitting near the door. The door is really loud when the it is closing, as it slams shut.
