Didn't even know what Mee Goreng was until tonight, and I'm instantly obsessed. The house made noodles and pasta are to die for.

Sego Restaurant is said to be one of the best and more high-end dining options in Kanab, a charming, tidy little town. Some locals mentioned that it has a master chef, which may explain why our server seemed a bit distant and was not very receptive when we politely mentioned that the Dan Dan noodles were a little oily.
In fact, the noodles were quite oily and a bit too salty. The server told us that if we didn’t like it, we could switch to another dish—but did so without much warmth. We hope they can take customer feedback more openly.
To be fair, the food is better than at Wild Thyme Bistro, though the service could feel more welcoming.

By far the best meal we had in Kanab or anywhere on our trip for that matter. The staff is amazing, food is 10/10 & would rival any culinary experience at half the price. Pictured is their banana bread pudding but other notable highlights are the duck lo mein, pork lettuce cups, and ribs. I wish I could go back tonight
Really wanted to like this restaurant. Hostess was rude. Service was very slow and inattentive. Waiter missed one plate we ordered.quality of food was inconsistent .Sometimes we got fresh dishes , sometimes we did not. We left disappointed.

Our conceier suggested this place. We made a reservation. We waited 10 minutes for the hostess to notice us. When we finally sat down the hostesssuggest we order 6-7 items to share. The place was hot inside and service was slow. They didn't allow substitutions on the menu. You couldn't tone down the spice as most items must have been pre cooked. The portions were small and price was high. The steak was cut up for you. Ordered a cookie dessert and the cookie was burnt on the bottom. Overall would not recommend it return.

This restaurant is a must-visit! We ordered the pork chop, and it was absolutely delicious. If you enjoy a richer, fattier cut of pork, you will love this dish—the portion of fatty pork adds so much flavor. Even for a traditional Chinese dish, the presentation was impressively refined and elegant.

Last minute find when I was in Kanab this past weekend and looking for a dinner spot after a long day of hiking. So glad I stumbled across the website and even more glad they still had a spot available for an early dinner!
The food was amazing, as was the service. The menu is tapas style, so the food is meant to be shared. My duo decided to get 5 plates, but our eyes were bigger than our stomaches and we were full off of 2.5 and took the rest to reheat later in the night. Everything we got was so yummy, even reheated, and I loved the variety of options, especially vegetarian friendly ones. The prickly pear margarita is a must!

We ordered many things and each were fantastic, but the focaccia ‘quesilla’ so exceptional we placed a second order! Patron sitting next to us was a chef from DC who travelled to Kanab just to dine at Sego. We all agreed it’s worth the airfare

Every time we visit Sego Restaurant, we are reminded why it’s our absolute favorite. Liz and Chef Shon aren’t just running a restaurant; they are living out a mission. From driving across Utah to get farm-fresh ingredients to treating their staff like family, the integrity of this place is unmatched. The food is exceptional, every single time. If you want a meal that has heart, soul, and world-class flavor, this is it! As a high end weddings and events planner, I would refer them to clients every.single.time. Exceptional! I can't wait to try their new restaurants in Springdale. The Foster Family is some of the best people. Support their beautiful efforts. It's about so much more than food. It's about the people, the relationships, the land. So so incredible.

Sego is rated appropriately for its near 5 star rating. The food was very high quality and well thought out for the price and the service was wonderful.
Every entree and side we ordered were fantastic.
I am not a dessert guy but the banana bread pudding was top tier.
They made me dish on internet that was not on menu, the Dan Dan Lo Mien. Very tasty. The layout is cozy good vibe like being at your friends house. The hotel looks great too. Thanks guys.
