Service is slow and too many of the staff do not know what coffee should be. I avoid this shop as much as I can anymore.
I blame management for the slow service—staff members are often left on their own during busy times—-Food Service Management 101: proper staffing.

I ordered my black coffee, I even brought my own mug. I sat and watched other customers getting their drinks. I asked about my coffee. She said they hadn't made it yet because orders are made in order of receiving them. I said okay. She then immediately said, she didn't have any coffee and that she would make me a different drink. I asked for my money back. Then I was told I would have to go to the Smith's customer service. Then she said she could make more coffee.

This could have all been avoided if she would have said there was no coffee in the first place. But nope.

Wish I could put 0/5 stars. This is the worst starbucks I've ever been to. And I've been to many. Why hire people that don't know how to make coffee ? Every time I've gotten anything from here it never even tastes like coffee. Also never put the right milk in it. What if I had an allergy ? The starbucks in layton and farmington are way way better.

Daughter got a pumpkin spice drink and asked to have no coffee added. The worker that made it still put it in so my daughter asked if she would remake it. They would not remake it. Frustrated because this was their error and wouldn’t make it right.

If the person making the drinks doesnt know how to make the drinks without literally calling someone for help, consider scheduling another employee to be there who knows the menu. Or even have a booklet with the recipes. Highly unprofessional, I feel bad for the girl who had to work under such pressure.

I usually come here with my daughter because it is right by my place. Well we came in today 2/22/25 around 5 pm to pick up groceries for dinner. We walked up to the register and the 2 girls are just talking. One took my order and my daughter's while the other one sat right behind her drinking her drink and spacing out. From what I remember when I worked at a Starbucks kiosk not too long ago, you cant have your phones or drinks on the floor. My daughter ordered a kids grande vanilla steamer, and it was definitely not kids temp, burned her tongue and throat. I ordered a Venti Iced WM, light ice, oatmilk, & an extra shot, hznt syrup. I got a completely different drink. Sent my husband to have them remake it and they still did not get it right but were talking and laughing while making my drink both times. I got so annoyed and just threw both drinks away. I want my refund smh.

I have come to this Starbucks for a long time because it’s right by my house. I have had Multiple bad experiences with one barista McKenna. When McKenna first started working there she messed up every single time, it’s still the same now after months.

One time I order a hot venti latte and I watched her fill the rest up with hot water.
I brought it back and said it taste like water, Mckenna lied to my face and said “that’s weird” after I watched her fill it with water.
That’s really made me dislike her, don’t lie to my face. Just take accountability say sorry and make me a new drink

Other times she’s messed up multiple drinks on my order, she can’t seem to make drinks good on a consistent basis.

Tonight she tried not taking my Starbucks app coupon, and she was completely disrespectful with her attitude.

How are you going to be disrespectful After you messed up multiple of my drinks in the past.

You as a worker know I come here a lot and you(McKenna) know specifically you messed up my drinks all the time and I’m always more than polite about it. Even after you lied to my face.

Hassling customers about the Starbucks app coupons is ridiculous and crazy when you can’t even make the drinks right consistently. Half of the time people are paying for some messed up drinks.

If you’re going to mess up their drink all the time the least you could do is take their Starbucks at coupon

Make it make sense, Give your customer a good customer service it’s really not that hard

Management Smith’s failing,
You can’t put a Starbucks in your store and then expect not to use the Starbucks app you’re just going piss people off
