Picked up 2 breast and wing with beans, rice, and a reg chips and guacamole. Guacamole was super fresh! But the chicken was on the small side, slightly burnt, and incredibly dry. I have been going to El Pollo loco for YEARS, and understand the cooking process for their delicious chicken. I think perhaps they, like most places, are shrinking their portions. Really a shame.
I have been here many times. I really like el pollo loco, but this location is terrible. They never have chicken for a chicken meal. It’s a chicken place. How do you not have chicken. When ordering online they always are out of something, so when you pick up the food they don’t know what to do. They just stare at you and tell you the manager will be with you. After waiting forever, and the manager never comes out. They finally reveal they are out of an item and ask if you would like something else. Then they disappear again. Then the manager finally comes out and asks if you’re being helped and you have to explain the whole situation to the manager. This has happened not once but almost everyone I have been there. After all that they still get the order completely wrong, they forget the dressing for the salad, don’t give you the substituted item and never give you salsa. Which I never dare ask for because that will take another 20 minutes. I’m done. Too bad, because they have good food.

I am sick and tired of not having the salad bar open. As a Hispanic, I don't appreciate feeling like I'm asking for something crazy or out of the norm when I ask for more than 3 salsas for a 12pc meal. My whole family of 7, 6 out of them eat spicy food and 2 tubs of salsa is what we typically use to start off our plate. I understand not everybody eats the same but that's why before the pandemic, they had salad bars so that you could serve yourself as much or as little as you wanted. I bet a majority of people have no idea that this place offers complimentary Pico de Gallo, salsas, limes, and Serrano peppers to name a few but most people would never know because they never open them anymore. They use them ad catering advertisements when u walk in store. Food is great most of the time just stay away from the Mac and cheese if it's not fresh. And if you ask for more salsa, the workers there act like they own the establishment and they will go bankrupt if you get more.

Food was pretty good not great but good the service is absolutely horrible,, they had one till open up, and five people waiting in line for service. The girl taking orders could only speak in broken English, and it took her 10 minutes per person to take each person's order... Friday night about 6:00 not real busy but service was absolutely horrible.
