I love Costco. It's a blast to bring my family and get samples or to find incredible savings. The fact that they haven't figured out a better system for the food court is beyond me. I feel bad having to constantly go up to the clerk and ask if my number was called. Maybe try an intercom or a large TV that shows who's orders are ready? You have the app, it wouldn't be too expensive to incorporate an online ordering system.
I know the prices are great, and that's probably why the system is lacking. But there are very easy and inexpensive ways to make the customer experience better.

We waited for over 25 minutes for our order of a salad and a cookie. We went to the counter to ask where it was and the girl said that they didn’t have our order because the “printer ran out of ink”…yet people ordering after us got their orders…
It’s 2025, I don’t know how a printer running out of ink is a valid excuse to not be aware that we ordered something.

Unsatisfactory service. I saw multiple customers get ignored and myself and multiple people had to wait for half an hour and our food wasn’t even being prepared and they had to make the order again and were being really rude for their own mistake.
