I gave this place 2 tries today. Ordered the Cream Cheese Cheesesteak both times. First time I got a marinara one with pepperoni. Didn't eat it so I got another one. Got my Cream Cheese Cheesesteak BUT no added lettuce or tomato(as ordered) or my jalapeño sauce.....DO BETTER!!!

Just wow is mainly what I have to say. It’s such a little location for HIGH HIGH traffic. This location never stopped. It was slammed when we walked in to the time we walked out. Plus their internet was down which made everything worse. Their meat wasn’t that great. I know a real Philly and this definitely wasn’t one. We drove from EM and definitely won’t go back, I rather drive to the mall.

The filling is excellent, the service is quick and friendly, but the sandwich bread is very mediocre and really takes away from the experience.
This place really has accommodating employees. The cheesesteaks are absolutely delicious and the prices are more than fair.

DP has great cheesesteak! The meat is seasoned perfectly. The meat to cheese ratio is perfect. The buns don’t get soggy. To me these are all the thing that make a great cheesesteak.

DP cheesesteaks has always been the best cheesesteak in the valley. It's always good and their service is always top notch.
I've had real cheesesteaks from Philly and even Arizona (Philly's Famous in Chandler, check them out), and yet even for a chain shop, DP's still manages to make a damn fine whiz steak - the *true* kind of cheesesteak. They've got the birch beer, ketchup chips, and plenty of variations on the original sandwich to fulfill any needs or wants.

After craving a good Philly and wanting something quick for lunch I decided to stop in at DP Cheesesteaks.
We were created by friendly staff who made some suggestions and took our orders promptly.
So why only a 3 star rating? Well, ultimately the service is a 5, the atmosphere is a 4 and the food itself is a 3. I tend to weigh the food itself more than the other two.
The food lacked anything special. It was fine, but nothing to write home about. Having traveled all over the US we found this place to be nice but lacking in flavor. The rolls (buns, bread, whatever you want to call it) were typical, nothing special at all. My guess is they are store bought, not made fresh in store.
The restaurant itself was clean and staff was friendly. There was plenty of seating indoors. Restrooms were clean.
Prices were typical - my 9” (large) was around $12 and the regular 6” was around $7.
