Picked this place Saturday based on location and 4.2 google review. Maybe they are under new management. I have eaten sushi in many US States and several other countries.
The worst service I have ever received. The owner was rude, disrespectful and didn’t seem to understand he is the hospitality business. Sushi was stale and smelled old.
I still paid for my food and left a good tip for the server, but I will never return.

Always love going to or ordering from Red 8, Michael ALWAYS has such great service and makes you feel like you’re part of the family.

This has been my go-to sushi spot for YEARS, definitely give it a try!

I love the food here, staff is also so wonderful. I came here with my family, and, to be honest, I felt bad coming to a Chinese place having someone who was gluten free. But, the staff made great suggestions and were incredibly kind. I ended up getting the orange chicken combo which comes with fried rice, wan tans, and soup. I can comfortably say, the food here is as good as it looks. It’s also surprisingly affordable as well, looking forward to coming back here.

Honestly the worst lo mein I’ve ever had. They obviously use spaghetti noodles, there’s very very minimal protein added, when I paid $2 more for shrimp, and zero flavor. I ordered egg rolls as well, the photo online shows 3 pieces but one order only comes with 2 egg rolls also very mid. I wouldn’t even try the sushi based on the entree I received.

The owner has that old school intensity. It makes you a bit nervous to interact with him. Not to say he's mean, just intense.

The food was good. Sushi had an insane amount of mayo but other than that tasted good. The restaurant closes at 10:30 on the weekends. We came at 8:30 and they had already started putting up tables, mopping, and their staff was eating in the front restaurant and on their phones. While we ate people came by 5 times asking about boxes and just walking by seeing how close we are. If you want to close early than change your hours!!! It takes 20 minutes to mop and put the chairs up after close. It can wait. It was extremely rude and made the experience unpleasant.

Just moved here from AZ and pleasantly to find this place. The restaurant was almost full on a Saturday night at 6:30 when we arrived. We were seated right away at the remaining seats at the bar. We ordered miso soup and three rolls for the two of us. We were served drinks immediately and we had received our rolls and finished by 7 pm. Great prices! It stayed full the whole time we were there and no wonder! The servers were so attentive- even noticed we didn’t have soy sauce as soon as we turned to look their way. I can’t eat gluten or eggs, and they have many more choices than I’m used to.

I have a gluten allergy and my server Lin was absolutely amazing!! She modified all the food so it was gluten free and brought me out gluten free soy sauce. Absolutely will be coming back! She truly was amazing!

The sashimi is top quality. I’m from NYC, so I know top quality fresh sashimi. Was delighted with Red 8’s fresh fish!!! Was sweet with no fishy aftertaste. They also serve generous portions. Also, the service was respectful and genuine.
