The Marketplace is a diverse dining hall on campus that offers a wide variety of cuisine options. With a chef's line, Cafe Solana (a Mexican-inspired spot similar to Chipotle), Blue Dragon (a Mongolian grill reminiscent of Zao), a grill serving American fare, as well as pizza, pasta, and salads, there is something for everyone. The quality of the food is generally very good, with dishes coming out quickly and at the right temperature. Customers appreciate the better dessert selection compared to the Junction, including Aggie Ice Cream and smoothies.
While the dining experience is positive overall, there are a few areas for improvement. The tables could be cleaned more regularly, and the consistency of portion sizes could be better. However, the all-you-can-eat format allows customers to easily address any issues. Overall, The Marketplace is seen as a significant upgrade from the Junction, offering a more varied and higher-quality dining experience for students.
