Absolutely the worst location I've ever been to and it's very unfortunate because it is the closest one to me. My food is always missing key ingredients , the workers are never helpful and seem like they hate their jobs. So irritating.

DECIDED TO GIVE THIS LOCATION ANOTHER CHANCE.. what happened to the habanero sauce?! Now I'm never coming back .😭

Never been this disappointed at a Cafe Rio. When I walked in, everything was covered in grime—tables, chairs, even the windows. It looked like nothing had been wiped down in days. It was also a self-service kiosk, which meant there was no interaction with anyone, making the whole place feel cold and unwelcoming. And when my food finally came out, it was cold and the tortilla was stale. Really disappointed with this experience.

Usually go here on lunch (drive thru) but today I found a bug inside my drink! Thought it was mint stuck to my lid, but upon further examination I realized it was a bug.

CV is our jam but we decided to try Cafe Rio again after a hiatus and we finally came to the conclusion that Cafe Rio isn’t and will never be the CR from yesteryear. Wilted cilantro, huge chunk of grisly inedible shredded beef, small portions for a big price. edit: looking over the other reviewers I forgot to mention the myriad times the gross discolored LETTUCE CORE was INCLUDED in our salads, inexcusable and downright inedible.

CR has gone downhill since the glory days of the early aughts. After not eating there for about a decade I tried it a couple years ago when they had the atrocious flavor profile of their barbecue style tacos and thought I’d never go back. This experience finally confirmed that conviction. Sad.

This is my favorite CafĆ© Rio location! A couple of times my order hasn’t been quite ready when I arrived, and every time the staff has immediately offered me a drink on the house. It’s such a simple but thoughtful way to acknowledge their customers’ time and show they care.

I eat at CafĆ© Rio quite often and at other locations, I’ve waited up to half an hour past my pickup time with zero acknowledgment, so the difference here really stands out. The employees at this location are always friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind.

Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area and craving CafĆ© Rio—this team truly goes above and beyond!

This is the worst cafe rio in the valley. I counted 3 pieces of steak in my burrito. Wait is 3x normal locations, they don't even call your order. I saw a woman with gloves on eat something and lick her finger clean and not change gloves. I will be notifying the health department.

Very disappointed on their ordering system. You need to order from a computer screen with no assistance. When you look at the menu, it's hard to tell what you're getting and what you're ordering with all the options and the extra surcharges. The food was good and the service was friendly

I work in the food industry and this has got to be one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had the crew was just there like robots no greetings when we walked in, it didn’t feel like a cafe Rio, it wasn’t homie or welcoming, the iPad kiosk station was horrendous our app wouldn’t scan on any of them so no 4x points or anything, I couldn't order my food the way I even wanted and when I tried to ask for help on how to get what I want the workers just looked at us and offered to write down our order cuz they didn’t even have the option for a register and aren’t educated on how to work them…so I just awkwardly walked away and said I’ll try again and I finally got to the pay option with my order that wasn’t even really want I liked to get I’m super frustrated by this point and it errors my payment 3 times and cancels my whole order saying it will refund me in 3-5 business days like are you kidding me I’ve been here for 15-20 mins now with no help except an offer to wright down my order witch I don’t wanna do i asked if my order was sent cuz I was charged but noooo…. So I left it was awful…. I wanna see my food being made and just the fun part about what makes cafe Rio a good place to be with friendly faces and this was just not it, it was terrible… and I can already tell my order would of been messed up like do better. I won’t ever eat at this location and I highly recommend going somewhere else this location is a disgrace to cafe Rio

I had a really disappointing experience at this Cafe Rio. When my friend and I walked in, nobody greeted us, so we went over to the kiosk to order. After standing there for about 7 minutes with no confirmation, we finally went up to ask if our order even went through. That’s when we found out the restaurant was actually closing — but it was only 10:20 pm, even though the posted hours (and the website) clearly say they close at 11.

When we asked about our order, the manager came over and said it was ā€œpendingā€ and then made a rude comment suggesting maybe I had ā€œspent all of my money.ā€ Not only was that unnecessary and disrespectful, but my card DID get charged, so now I have to wait for a refund.

The whole interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. If the restaurant is going to close early, they should update their hours or at least communicate with customers who are already inside. And as for customer service — 0/10.

Threw the salad in the trash, it was filled with water on the bottom, every component was poorly made, the beans and rice were mushy, the chicken tough and shredded into smithereens. The dressing came out in chunks. 0/10 save your money
