I work in the food industry and this has got to be one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had the crew was just there like robots no greetings when we walked in, it didn’t feel like a cafe Rio, it wasn’t homie or welcoming, the iPad kiosk station was horrendous our app wouldn’t scan on any of them so no 4x points or anything, I couldn't order my food the way I even wanted and when I tried to ask for help on how to get what I want the workers just looked at us and offered to write down our order cuz they didn’t even have the option for a register and aren’t educated on how to work them…so I just awkwardly walked away and said I’ll try again and I finally got to the pay option with my order that wasn’t even really want I liked to get I’m super frustrated by this point and it errors my payment 3 times and cancels my whole order saying it will refund me in 3-5 business days like are you kidding me I’ve been here for 15-20 mins now with no help except an offer to wright down my order witch I don’t wanna do i asked if my order was sent cuz I was charged but noooo…. So I left it was awful…. I wanna see my food being made and just the fun part about what makes cafe Rio a good place to be with friendly faces and this was just not it, it was terrible… and I can already tell my order would of been messed up like do better. I won’t ever eat at this location and I highly recommend going somewhere else this location is a disgrace to cafe Rio

I had a really disappointing experience at this Cafe Rio. When my friend and I walked in, nobody greeted us, so we went over to the kiosk to order. After standing there for about 7 minutes with no confirmation, we finally went up to ask if our order even went through. That’s when we found out the restaurant was actually closing — but it was only 10:20 pm, even though the posted hours (and the website) clearly say they close at 11.

When we asked about our order, the manager came over and said it was “pending” and then made a rude comment suggesting maybe I had “spent all of my money.” Not only was that unnecessary and disrespectful, but my card DID get charged, so now I have to wait for a refund.

The whole interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. If the restaurant is going to close early, they should update their hours or at least communicate with customers who are already inside. And as for customer service — 0/10.

Threw the salad in the trash, it was filled with water on the bottom, every component was poorly made, the beans and rice were mushy, the chicken tough and shredded into smithereens. The dressing came out in chunks. 0/10 save your money

EDIT: Customer Service fixed my issue for me and explained it was a tech issue they've been trying to fix rather than a suspicious employee. The food is Cafe Rio, tasty tasty, but I've been made much happier to not have had 40+ points lose to the ages!!

PRE EDIT: Did a web order, picked it up, tried to redeem my receipt for points on the app and was told my receipt had already been redeemed. Sus.

They have screwed up my order several times and their customer service really sucks as they were unable to even help me. Cafe Rio is super good, I love it, but this location sucks.

Every time I come to this location, the food is wrong or just gross. Undercooked rice, wrong sauce, rotten guacamole

IF I ORDER A PORK BURRITO I EXPECT PORK IN MY DAMN BURRITO!!!!! ts was like 600% beans and rice and a singular bite of pork😒 huge waste of money! now ik why nobody ever goes to this location. y’all gotta be stupid if u think what u sold me today was worth the $40 u charged me for it.
