I love costa vida, this is the worst one i have ever been to. The drive thru had 3 cars ahead of me, I was in line for 35 minutes!!!! Did they only have one person in the store? No no, there were at least 7 employees working, two customers in line inside. Why did it take so long? The most painful costa experience i’ve ever had.

We love Costa Vida! Their food is always fresh (lettuce isn't dripping wet like a competitor), their variety of meats are great, and the staff is always pleasant. Love the app for rewards! One thing I can suggest is turn down the air freshener. I can't dine in because it is very overwhelming and you start to taste it.Kid-friendliness: My son loves the cinnamon tortilla roll
Emily was such a kind soul and really went above and beyond to give such great customer service. The lady in front of me I could tell was giving her a hard time for no reason that was Emily’s fault but something to do with her app. Emily acted with maturity and also so professional! She deserves recognition.

Never order ahead at this restaurant. They will give your order away to the first DoorDash driver who shows up whether your name is on the ticket or not. The employees are poorly trained and are absolute idiots.

I really want to like Costa more than I do but every time I go they are so tight with their portions.....it's so annoying! The food is fair for this style of restaurant but the service and portions really need to be adjusted and I'm speaking specifically of the scanty amount of protein they alot per item. Teenagers usually run the place and some are more service oriented than others.

I’m not one for bashing customer service workers because I work customer service myself. I know how hard the job can be. And I don’t expect the most amazing service because let’s be honest, it’s a fast food place. But if I could give a 0 star review on the employees I absolutely would. The employees at this costa vida all suck. I don’t know how they even managed to land a job. They don’t listen to what you order, they constantly forget to put in things that you’ve ordered, they stand around and talk and do nothing, and at some point instead of helping us at the drive thru speaker, they started chasing each other around the outside of the building while we were waiting there for at least 5-10 minutes. They’re the most unprofessional team of people I’ve ever seen and like I said, I don’t expect the best but I expect them to at least do their jobs.
Don’t want to give any stars gave me rotten food the dressing was sour and now have food poisoning from it. The queso was separated and watery as well.

I'm a huge Costa Vida fan, especially since Cafe Rio went downhill and have come to this location for a couple of years and it's always been good. Lately that has changed. The last few times the sweet pork tasted like they forgot the "sweet" aspect and it just tasted like bland pork, not very appetizing. So yesterday, to avoid the pork, I ordered a chicken salad. As I started to eat I kept smelling something like stinky feet and kept looking around for where it was coming from. Turns out it was the chicken. When I put it to my nose to the chicken pieces they either smelled like dirty feet or that vile meat dog food smell. Not sure what's going on at this location but I would avoid it.

Why on Thursday at 8 p.m. is the lobby closed and no one coming to the drive thru? There is signs posted of holiday hours but today is not a holiday, regular close is 9 not 8. I saw employees inside and they saw me stand at the door and ignored me.

Edit from 12/26/23 - no surprise they still can’t get orders right. I ordered guac and chips and an extra ranch and I got queso and no extra ranch. Midvale needs better training or a new manager clearly.How hard is it to get an order right? It’s never right when I come in and it wasn’t even busy.
