I was treated like a king and the food was awesome, the Midvale store rocks, and I mean, literally, when I walked in, they were playing music, which was one of my favorite bands. I could’ve stayed in there all day!

I love and have a big tolerance for spicy food and every time I hear or come across a “challenge” like that I always like to give it a try. And while I would not order the Reaper again, it was not as bad as I expected, it’s just that as much as I love spiciness there’s just a level where it stops being enjoyable for day to day consumption, and this went above it for a bit. It is not as spicy as I thought it was going to be but enough to make me reach for my milkshake, if you have a “normal” or low spice tolerance, stay away from it. Flavor wise is consistent to all their other chicken but overloaded with powder, which if you’ve ever done one of them spicy food challenges (Paqui One Chip, Blazin' Knockout at Buffalo, etc.) you already know what I’m talking about.
Everything else:
The following times I’ve been here I’ve stuck with the hot and extra hot chicken sliders and oh men are they delicious. I’m not the biggest fan of chicken sandwiches and even then, this place makes me want to go back. The chicken is juicy while the outside is crispy with just the perfect amount of seasoning, the sauce is savory, the pickles feel so natural, tangy and crunchy, and the bread is buttery and soft like a cloud.
The milkshakes are delicious too but slightly overpriced considering their serving size.
Lastly, the honey packets they give you on the side also add another layer of flavor to the slider that you can’t go on without, I was hesitant at first but I was pleasantly surprised to see what a great combination that is. -
Overall an outstanding chicken sandwich spot worth a visit even if you’re not that big of fan of those sandwiches, and if you are, all the more reasons!
Again, if you have an average spice tolerance stay away from the Reaper (I had friends that couldn’t go further than one or two bites), and if you have a high one, you’ll be good! It’ll be really spicy but nothing you can’t finish, get a milkshake on the side for good measure. I don’t know but just by writing all this I’m getting hungry and wanting to go back haha.
