Hamburger patty was dry and tasteless onion rings came out cold burger buns fell apart on the junior Burger the burger bun that was so thick and gross it had old moldy smell to it waitress did not even think us for coming in didn't say goodbye have a nice day thank you or anything it was really rude of her

Burger 7/10. The patty didn't seem that great. I'd heard rave reviews, but I've had plenty of better burgers in SLC. They say they're made from scratch daily but to me it seemed like a flavor-lacking frozen patty. Surely it wasn't. Maybe just a bad day. And maybe they use extra lean meat which means less fat and flavor. Not sure.

It was a good clean place. We had a large family and they were able to combine the tables and chairs together for us really quick and easy. The service was good and responsive as well. Since we were there, we got a few root beer floats and they tasted amazing.

This place gets worse and worse. Pathetic compared to the downtown Salt Lake location. We've already stopped getting the undercooked pizza-now the burgers are raw inside and the onion rings are undercooked and doughy.

This hires doesn’t compare at all to the downtown hires. Their food is always over-cooked and burnt. Their fryers probably never get cleaned…hence the French fry pics. They should be embarrassed to serve fried like these. I wish I could post a picture of their greesey, over-cooked French fries!

Hires Big H will always be one of my all time favorites! Not only is the food incredible, but it has the perfect family diner vibe. I have grown up going to Hires with my family. I have memories with my great grandfather enjoying their incredible root beer floats! If you’re looking for an incredible sandwich, try the Avocado Turkey sandwich on wheat! You won’t regret it!
