Love this place! Been eating there for over 20 years (this and two prior locations). So sad to see they are closed, hoping they reopen. Delicious food!
Love this place! Their Pad See Ew and Pad Thai are my favorites. Recently I feel like their portions have gotten smaller, but that might be best for me since I tend to eat too much.If you haven't yet, give this place a try. Good food, good atmosphere, good everything!
This is one of my favorite places of all time to eat. I've been coming here for 10 years. I have never had anything off of their menu that wasn't absolutely delicious.
Best Thai food in existence. Not just the sweet coconut milk curries, real substance and fantastic taste.
I thought it was great! I had the vegetarian platter, the iced tea, and the mango sticky rice. The sauce of the plater made me want more, had a new mushroom in it that I never had before. The tea was so good! And I was skeptical about the mango sticky rice (more because I’ve never had it before) but it was delicious! They let you know that they only had one server so I wasn’t worried about always being checked on. But even the service was great! Over I loved the experience and will be going back ?
It wasn't very good Thai food, it was a small portion and it was pretty expensive. The vegetable curry tasted more like sour tomato soup than it did curry. It had one bite of broccoli in the whole container. The pumpkin tofu curry had two small bites of pumpkin in it. The two small dishes cost $34. We paid to get extra vegetables but they used the cheapest veggies available like cabbage, potato, and carrot. It was all pretty sour and poor quality.
Ordered the drunken noodles with the max spice level . The spice was perfect and the flavor was awesome. Portion size was also perfect. I ordered pickup and the food was ready on time and was still hot by the time I got home. 10/10 highly recommend
Been here twice while visiting Salt Lake City, and man I'm stopping here everytime I come! The food is really amazing, and there's so much variety for vegetarian options. Loved it!!!
I was craving either Chinese food or Hawaiian food and my buddy said “what about Thai food?” So I ended up ordering the Green Curry Pork and I haven’t had flavors like that before. It’s so good I want it again today. I think you guys are my new favorite place for sure.
Ever been to a Thai restaurant and the food was too hot to eat?Not at Mekong Cafe where you can choose the heat!( spicy flavor)I am very impressed with both the staff and the food.We dined in and there was four generations of people in our party and Mekong Cafe had something for ALL of us.Thanks Mekong Cafe for a great dining experience!

Wonderful!First time I've eaten from this restaurant, beyond what I had expected in flavor and spice. It can only be improved when dining in is available and I can bring my family and friends for the experience as well. Most definitely a go to for the authentic.
First time I have been there and they have one of the best curries I have had in a long time (pumpkin curry). I will be going back.
Love this place. Food is excellent; I order shrimp soup and their curry multiple times. Their green curry is delightfully authentic: Mild spice level for the Green is still a bit spicey so I suggest getting extra coconut milk on the side if you think you need it. Their "Authentic" Red and Yellow curries are the perfect spice level for people who want to taste spiciness but can be sensitive to it:)I love that they offer a distint range of heat levels and also offer the "authentic" version. The woman at the front is super nice!
Amazing Thai food!! I highly recommend it.
After ordering online we got a call from the restaurant telling us they don’t offer the dish we ordered from their ONLINE MENU because it was a lunch special (it was lunchtime). When my husband asked if they could still make it the lady hung up on him. He called back and asked for clarification and she said yes they would make the Drunken Noodle dish he ordered and hung up on him again. When we received our food, it wasn’t the dish we ordered, the vegetables were obviously from frozen and not fresh and my iced coffee was and iced tea that tasted like powder.Go to the burrito place across the street and save yourself the depression of having to pay for a meal at this dump.
