I love the food here. Lo Mein is one of my favorites along with the sweet and sour chicken.

I was craving lemon chicken after being couped up with a nasty cold virus. Rice King was en route with my errand route. Flavors were delicious and well priced. Hostess and service were very nice. I'd go back.

A young boy named vincent liang went the extra mile to make sure that I was satisfied. A highlight of the meal was the coconut shrimp, I don't know what they put in it but it was extra creamy. 10/10 would eat there again.

I've been here a dozen times over the last few years. The quality is consistent and the price is good. Around 10 dollars a plate. Portions don't leave me wanting.
This is also my mother's favorite place to get Moo Goo Gai Pan.

I ordered dinner for my family tonight the sesame chicken, the restaurant special, and wonton soup and was really hoping for a good experience, but the food fell short. The sesame chicken had such a thick layer of breading that it was hard to enjoy, and the sauce seemed to be just poured inside. The wontons in the soup were overly soft and had a slippery, egg-like texture and the veggies also seemed canned or cooked prior to and thrown into the soup. The restaurant special had nice flavor overall, but the mushrooms tasted canned rather than fresh. Unfortunately, this meal didn’t meet expectations, and I don’t plan to return.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in salt lake city. We have ordered almost everything on the menu and we have never been disappointed. My favorite entree is the shrimp with deluxe vegetables. The shrimp and vegetables with this and all other menu items are super fresh and super delicious. Please dine here if you want the perfect, Chinese meal (whatever you order). Slither in because according to the Chinese zodiac, 2025 is the year of the snake.
I had to wait about 15 minutes for my food because I didn't pre order. Which is totally fine. As stated in the comments, it's a tad warm in here. But it's not hot. It's clean. The people running it are so sweet. It's a very clean hole in the wall. We ordered their steak and broccoli and walnut chicken, pot stickers, wontons and hot and sour soup. The wanut chicken is the best I've ever had. Everything smells divine. Tastes amazing. You can tell it's fresh which I really appreciate.

Great food and ridiculously affordable. Stop for lunch whenever I can. Soup and lunch for about $9 is hard to beat.

Not only was the restaurant HOT, because no AC or airflow was going (it’s 90° outside), it’s disgustingly dirty. There were splatters of something on the walls, random boxes and stuff everywhere. Didn’t feel like it had been cleaned in a very long time! There was also no music or white noise or anything and felt like we shouldn’t talk. Very strange atmosphere.
The service was terrible as well. There were only two people in the restaurant when we got there, it took them maybe 5mins to come from the back to seat us (does nodding his head towards a table, count as “seating” us?).
After getting our food, which actually wasn’t bad (chicken chow mein and general tsao chicken), we heard some nasty coughing coming from the kitchen, which completely grossed us out. The guy who seated us, never came to check on us, and we sat for probably 15-20mins when we were done, waiting to get our check to leave. I grabbed a to-go box myself from one of the other tables while waiting (like I said, random stuff everywhere).
I do not recommend this place. If you have it delivered or get it to go and can bypass the restaurant itself, the food wasn’t terrible (just remember the cougher in the kitchen who’s making your food) and the prices were very reasonable.

This food went down hill. I use to order from Rice King 2 or 3 times a week but the food went down hill. We tried it again today and there was no carrots, peas, scramble egg and 6 tiny pieces of ham in their ham fried rice. I will never go back. If you're reading this find a different place to eat.

Great food at a decent price. Everything that I have tried from this place has been delicious. It can get busy inside and the place is small but it's worth the wait.
