This is the perfect restaurant. You leave with your belly and your heart feeling full and happy! We ate here the night we got engaged and came back on our third wedding anniversary. Everyone from front of house to the people passing by topping off your drinks make you feel welcome and wanted. We had Justin as our server several years ago and he made such an impact that I found myself thinking “I hope he’s doing well” throughout the years. I was so pleased to see him again tonight! We had DJ as our server and this man is simply a delight. He is so attentive and friendly, and he makes you feel like he is honored to be helping you. He made us feel like friends, not just customers. Gwen is new, but she’s so cute and sweet, and on top of it! It was a delight to visit with her. CJ is a doll and is like sunshine on earth. We also loved Eric. He’s so friendly and witty. The whole evening felt more like a play date with friends. We also loved meeting and chatting with John. It’s clear he not only cares about the customers, but he cares about his employees. He’s cultivated a tight knit group of people who clearly love where they work, and that shines through in the service. The meal was wonderful, too, but I think the service is what makes this restaurant stand out, and arguably, I think that’s the most important. We love Midway Mercantile, and we will absolutely be back (hopefully sooner than three years!). If you want a restaurant that feels exclusive but also makes you feel included, come here. It feels high class, but you also feel right at home with the wonderful humans who make the place shine.

THIS is a special place! WOW! I’m not sure where to start as they knocked my socks off at every turn! The building is gorgeous, the interior has been beautifully decorated to be warm and inviting, the chairs are beautiful, padded and comfortable. And then comes the FOOD! The sea bass melted in my mouth. The salad was terrific with tomatoes and lettuce that popped with flavor. Did I mention the chefs come around and talk to each table? Very nice. We have gluten and dairy allergies and they were careful to accommodate us. Honestly, why can’t more restaurants be more like Midway Mercantile? They are a 5 out of 5 on everything. Well worth the drive from Salt Lake City.

Midway mercantile serves up some of the most flavorful food in midway. The dishes are have a ton of personality. The ambience is great with good servers and staff although flies creep in here and there. With a family of four seating was comfortable and the table was very unique. The pork tenderloin on penne is a must have!

This place is brimming with fantastic flavor. Expect to pay a tad on the high side and enjoy an indulgent meal. The bacon-wrapped dates were a fantastic start. I enjoyed the roast turkey sandwich, especially the cranberry jalapeño jelly!
