We had an amazing experience at Midway Mercantile Restaurant! Even though they were fully booked, they went above and beyond to accommodate our party of 8, which we truly appreciated. Jessica, the hostess, was incredibly welcoming, kind, and professional—she made us feel taken care of from the moment we walked in.
John, the owner, clearly takes pride in his restaurant and his guests. It’s rare to find a place where the service feels this genuine and accommodating. The food, atmosphere, and hospitality were all top-notch.
This level of customer service is what keeps people coming back. Highly recommend Midway Mercantile—we’ll definitely be returning!

After an amazing day snow tubing at Soldier Hollow Tubing, we decided to stop by Midway Mercantile on New Year’s Eve. We walked in knowing it was a busy Day, and sure enough, they were completely booked with no space available for our party of eight.
That’s when John, the owner, truly went above and beyond. Instead of turning us away, he found a way to make it happen and welcomed us in. Thanks to his generosity and hospitality, we were able to relax, enjoy great drinks, and have a wonderful meal together.
The food and drinks were excellent, but what really stood out was the exceptional service and genuine care for guests. John turned what could have been a disappointing end to the day into a memorable experience. We’re incredibly grateful and will absolutely be back. Highly recommend Midway Mercantile!

Went here for dinner last night and we were not impressed with the food. We had a party of 6 and unfortunately the tastiest dish was the pizza and the trout. Biggest take away is sometimes less is more. All the sides were way too over the top and didn’t taste good at all. The Fettuccine with sausage wasn’t tasty. The sausage was over cooked and the sauce was tasteless.

One of our favorite places to go for a nice dinner. The food is excellent and so is the service and ambiance.
We ate her tonight for my dad's birthday dinner and there was a mix up in the dishes we ordered. The chef and management was so responsive and immediately took action to make sure we got what we had ordered and that it was to our liking. Thank you for being so diligent and providing us with a fabulous meal and personalized attention!

We used to love this restaurant, and looked forward to returning. This time, however, we were very disappointed. I ordered the pizza- it was lukewarm and gummy. My husband had the lamb chops -so heavily sauced that the lamb itself was overwhelmed. Our son ordered the burger -- it was the best of the 3 dishes..

A gem of the Wasatch back, Midway Mercantile offers an experience both cozy and elevated. The dishes exude nostalgia, yet delight with flavor and presentation. The service is friendly and professional. The space takes you into another environment entirely. Don’t miss this restaurant

We have been going to the Mercantile a couple of times a year for the last 5 years since moving to Heber. Every single time, we leave happy! It’s our favorite restaurant in the Heber/Midway Valley to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries or other special occasions. The bacon wrapped dates, calamari, and beet hummus are our absolute favorites for appetizers. Every entree we have tried has been delicious. The Rosemary gimlet is by far the favorite cocktail. The owner usually comes around and says hello, which is very nice. All of their staff have been friendly and accommodating every time we have eaten here. Grateful for this lovely little restaurant here in town!

Must have been there on a bad day. Undercooked calamari, overcooked halibut without the apple chutney, and grainy chocolate mousse. The Curry and the Chick-Chacks were good and my server was very nice, though she was absent for a bit-meeting with boss.

Right from the very moment I was midway through the restaurant’s front door, the alluring aroma of freshly made entrees was midway up my nasal cavity. The experience only grew bigger as I feasted upon one of the finest meals I have ever eaten. The atmosphere was just perfect for midway it’s exactly what someone would need as they are midway between here or there and need a delicious dinner.
