Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Cafe

We lived in Midway for many years and loved going to this place. Today we just happen to be driving through and wanted to stop and grab some treats for our 1 hour drive home. My daughter mentioned she needed to use the restroom, that’s never been an issue before At the establishment. I was then told they no longer have a public restroom and I would need to have my daughter walk across the street to the park area. I was always under the assumption when you served food and had a seated establishment you were required to have a restroom available. I will no longer return to this establishment due to the way the young girl treated me when I asked for a restroom and I said the last time I was in There were restrooms available. They also didn’t have one of the Caramel apples we went in for. I at one time loved the small town feel of midway, I can honestly say not as much anymore.

Good thing we were in Midway when everybody's sweet tooth started acting up! Such a great selection of ice cream, bakery goods, drinks & more. We enjoyed our tasty treats today out on the patio. We will definitely be back again.

The young man did not take my order correctly and it took my eating the second piece of chocolate to discover this. The chocolate is overly expensive. Also, he wore a glove on one hand - which you would think was sanitary but it was just the opposite- he handled the food, my money and then used the same glove to put my food in a bag.

We stopped in as a family to grab some treats for our kids, and I ordered the white chocolate–dipped cherries. Right away, the first bite tasted off—like it was old. On the second bite, I noticed there was actually mold on the cherry. My husband took it back in to show the staff, but instead of offering a refund or a different treat, she just gave us another one of the same white chocolate–dipped cherries. Why would I want another after finding mold on the first? I was really disappointed in how the situation was handled. That said, everything else my husband and kids had was great.

Really good place! Everything was delicious. The cherries were a little iffy. My mom but into one that had mold on it. Besides that, everything was delicious!

We have been in Utah 35+ years and we have loved watching it evolve. Midway, Utah has arrived! We enjoyed our Saturday Staycation with the Farmer’s Market and so many cute shops. Rocky Mountain Chocolates even serves PEETS Coffee Expresso!

This place is a must ! The chocolate selection is marvelous - so many options to choose from. And their honeycomb lavender ice cream option might be my favorite of all time. 12/10. Plenty of patio seating too for a cool summer evening 💯

Great taste, great customer service

We were visiting from Florida. This is a wonderful place to go to if you are in town. Super friendly staff. Great selection of chocolates, candies and ice cream. I highly recommend visiting!

I love this place! Took my nieces and nephews-in-law here for ice cream and they loved it. The chocolates here are sooooo good!!

They also have treats for dogs, which I think is awesome! ✨
