The food here is fantastic and reasonably priced! We had a wonderful experience at both the resort and the restaurant. We tried a variety of dishes, and each one was excellent. For a hotel restaurant and bar, this place is quite impressive! They put quality into every aspect. The presentation of the food was as good as the taste. It's also in a very antique atmosphere reminiscent of a homestead in the Wild West. Love it!

Kid-friendliness: We really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the nice setting by the real fireplace. Aaron, our waiter was very attentive and polite. Food was great and very well presented. This restaurant definitely deserves better ratings. We loved the stake house salad and the apple tart is very, very delicious.

Went for our 11 year anniversary. I enjoyed the feel and service. Presentation of the food was pretty good, but the food just left alot to be desired. The charcuterie board wasn't great, seemed like it was left out, meat oxidized, cheese was 'hardening' for a lack of a better term. Then we ordered $42 ribeye. My wife's was curling at the edges that's how thin the ribeye was, but then you look at mine and it's maybe 3/4 inch thick which is no big deal, but to put out two identical dishes that are so drastically different should have been caught at the window. I gave my wife my steak and then by the time she got to the middle it was raw. So all in all it's the chefs here that seemed to struggle.

We went for dinner and returned the next day for breakfast. Both times our food was very flavorful and delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly and the chimichurri sauce was one of the bests. We ordered the Brussels for an appetizer and the different textures, flavors and colors were a delicious experience. The service was exceptional and the hostess is extremely nice. We had a great birthday celebration.

Food was great. We got a breakfast sandwich and pancakes. Service was lacking. Our waitress took our order then disappeared for our entire meal. They had forgotten our drinks but we had no one to tell. Breakfast sandwich was a bit dry so ask for ketchup if your waitress ever bothers to come back after you order.
Guests for life! We enjoyed our staycation so much, we are making it an annual tradition. The check in service was easy and the staff so friendly. One of the ladies was about to go on her lunch, and put her stuff down to drive us to our room. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The dinning room attendants were very friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious! Really enjoyed dinner after our reservation at the Crater. Keep it up guys!

Horrible first encounter. The host could have told me they didn’t have walk ins available from the get go. She made me wait 20 minutes and then another 10 just to tell me they couldn’t sit me down. She should have given me the option to make reservations online instead of just neglecting my service.
