My husband and I spent a weekend away in Midway and wanted a nice dinner so we stopped at this restaurant. It’s a very nice and fun looking restaurant. Lots of fun detail in their decor. We didn’t realize it didn’t open until 5:30 pm but they let us come in and sit down as we got there about 15 minutes early. All the servers and waitresses are very kind.We started out with the Porter and smoked Gouda fondue and it was excellent! The sides to dip in it were so tasty. We really love the shishito peppers. For the main dish I got filet mignon. I actually didn’t love it as it wasn’t my favorite taste, but the mashed potatoes and carrots were tasty. The highlight of the meal for me were the desserts. The crème brûlée was excellent and we got the fruit sorbet which was açai and it was so tasty and it was in an almond Florentine cup which was such fun presentation and tasted delicious!

Came here for a nice dinner on our babymoon and left feeling annoyed by the service. Our reservation was for 7:30 pm on a Saturday night. We didn't get approached by the older waitress taking us until close to 8:00. Even though we were put in the very corner, there's no way she didn't see us. The restaurant was packed and people who sat after we did were taken care of right away. Once she finally came to us, the food took forever to bring out, and that didn't include our main dish. After finishing a few appetizers, I was ready to leave, but the waitress told me the cook had already started on my husband's steak and that it would be out soon. We didn't get done eating until after 9:00. Everyone looked like they were being served bread at the beginning, which we never got either. Cool atmosphere and good food, but horrible horrible service. Wish we would've left somewhere else from the start!

Greatest brunch. Love trying new things. The scotch eggs were amazing! The brunch course leaves you needing nothing more yet is light enough no nap required after ;). If you’re looking for that ambiance for you and your special someone or a great place for brunch—this place is a must!Walkability: Right around the hotels and a skip away from the park. Easy walk depending where you are staying in Midway, with great sites right around the area.Food & drinks: Great selection of wine. Fair priced cocktails. Food is excellent!

Really enjoyed chicken risotto but pork shank fell a little short of the mark. Service started strong then took long while to get check, that being said everyone was super friendly. Ambiance - cozy interesting unique

I went here with my friends and it was so fun! The waiters and waitresses were so nice and everything was so clean. The food was really good as well. For the four of us broke college kids it was really good prices for fine dining! Will definitely return!

Delicious meal at The Blue Boar Restaurant. The fondue was irresistible and enjoyed my pork schnitzel very much. Warm and cozy dining area made for a memorable dining experience.
Throughout the evening dining at the Blue Boar Restaurant, I must have uttered the word "exceptional" to my wife five or six times. From appetizers to entrees and later desserts, not a single misstep. Everything, including the service, was on point. The ambience is warm and inviting ... and the food. The food is to die for! I seriously can't think of a better dining experience I've had in Utah.Food & drinks: Exceptional food. Every bite was delicious.

We came to The Blue Boar Inn to eat, not for lodging. It was one of the nicer places we could find in the Heber Valley and we decided to have a late Valentine's dinner here. This small old-style European chateau was a beautiful, cozy, and romantic place to enjoy a dinner together. The food was also very good with the standout dishes being the fondue and the schnitzel.

We love the Blue Boar for the old European atmosphere, great food and service. We ate there twice as we were staying nearby in Midway. Both times we were happy customers. Shared a delicious cheese fondue the first night then a few nights later went full boar, ordering wonderful pork shank and pork schnitzel with a tasty lettuce wedge salad as a starter. Highly recommend.
