Homestead is the up and coming coolest resort in the Heber Valley. The room renovations have really brought this place into a new era of thoughtful presentation and processes. Cheers to the future!!

Espresso: very good for esp for Utah. Service: the young gal working was so sweet. Location: The actually coffeeshop was incredibly HARD to find. Don't be fooled by Maps... the shop is located inside the property not street facing. But the inside of the shop was quaint, cozy, and beautifully designed. If I'm in the area again, I'd go back!

This review solely reflect the pastry/coffee options and not the ice cream. The ice cream looked decent! Based on other reviews I was expecting pastries that didn't come prepackaged in a a bag. At least outsourced by a local bakery or something. There were very few options and all the parties looked dry and overprocessed. Unfortunately even the espresso machine was broken and the black coffee was not remotely worth drinking. Great opportunity but lacking substance.

Hands down the best artisanal, homemade, high caliber ice cream I’ve had in Utah. So creamy and smooth, I almost mistook it for gelato. You can watch the ice cream get periodically churned in the containers so it stays fresh and yummy!6 flavors of ice cream were available, of which I enjoyed the chocolate and sea salt caramel. The coffee smelled divine. Ice cream pints to go were available along with a variety of fudge and sweet treats. I appreciated the small selection of quality ice cream. Would rather 6 awesome flavors rather than 20 mediocre ones.I almost didn’t go here when I saw the average 4 star reviews and that it was on resort property. I was glad to be proven wrong! Not a gimmick to lure in tourists. As a local, I would return.Incredibly helpful, kind, and cheerful service.Clean facilities.Cute area. ~Aesthetic~ interior

Got the vanilla bean ice cream with caramel and chocolate on top. The ice cream tasted grainy. First time I’ve ever thrown ice cream away before finishing. Disappointing.

5 stars for build out. Everything else needs some work! 0/5 stars coffee. Like take one sip and throw it in the trash coffee. Cheap, burnt beans and barista with zero training is a bad combo. Better to not offer coffee than sell whatever that was. Two employees were arguing when I came in. Had to wait patiently for them to stop to place an order. It's such a nice build out, please improve the product and train staff

Was really excited to try this new coffee shop! However they were out of so much food. They only had 3 ice cream flavors. On every specialty sundae I tried to order they were out of an ingredient. Really want to love this place but they need to make sure they are stocked! Will give it another try. Coffee was good.

Delicious ice cream, horrible customer service.I am not typically one to leave a negative review but I was beyond disappointed in my experience here and feel that the owners of this business should be made aware and possibly reconsider who they are allowing to serve their customers. I am not sure if Mica (the person working the counter) was just having a bad day today, or if she just truly hates her job and wants to make everyone aware of it. After hearing wonderful things about The Milk House online, I decided to take my husband there to get a sweet treat after visiting The Homestead Crater for his birthday. When we arrived to what we thought was the front entrance, we realized that the door was locked. We started to wonder if we were at the wrong place because there was not a clear label on the building. We began walking around the resort, where we bumped into an employee (I am assuming a manager of some sort) named Patrick. Patrick was super friendly and guided us to another entrance on the opposite side of the building. Patrick explained that the door we tried to enter should have been unlocked. He came in with us and asked Mica to please keep the door unlocked. After he left the building, Mica walked over to another employee and loudly said, "I think Patrick is just trying to piss me off today." She then proceeded to take mine and my husbands orders. Her body language and tone of voice were extremely negative. She acted as though we were inconveniencing her with frequent eye rolls and deep sighs. I asked if I could please order one scoop of the honey ice cream, and one scoop of the chocolate ice cream with honey drizzle, hot fudge, and brownie bits. (I know, that order is a bit much, but I have a sweet tooth LOL) Mica interrupted me and said 'You can pick two toppings. Not three. So decide on 2" I glanced over at the menu again to make certain that I had not misread it. The menu specifically stated that 'the build your own ice cream comes with 2 toppings, and any additional toppings are $0.79 each." I was not going to argue with her, even though I was willing to pay extra for the brownie pieces. The ice cream was super yummy, but due to the horrible customer service from Mica, I don't think we will be coming back. (Although based on her attitude, that is probably a positive outcome in her eyes.)

Lovely spot for coffee, tea and other beverages, house made fudge and other sweets, baked goods and fantastic soft serve, with unusual flavors and toppings, i.e. olive oil and sea salt! Friendly helpful service, with great recommendations and a genuine interest in what we thought of the items we ordered. ??
