The food was not good, especially considering the price point. My wife and I shared their beef Wellington, and I had about three bites and was done. We ordered drinks and I'm 99% sure they watered them down. That said, the staff was friendly. No knock on them.
Our server, Aaron, was pleasant and friendly. He checked back often and stayed on top of our needs. He needs a more in depth understanding of the menu. When asked, he didn't really know what the seasonal bread pudding was. We rolled the dice and it was very good. My husband and I shared the evening special of a bone-in cowboy steak with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. The food was delicious. The steak was a bit over the requested medium rare but it was tender and flavorful. The restaurant was almost too quiet. They need some music. We would return.
Best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had.
I had the filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes and broccolini. Everything tasted so phenomenal I didn’t want the meal to end. I will definitely come back next time I’m nearby Salt Lake City.
Hidden Gem with European Flavors – Highly Recommend!
This is one of the nicest little spots to spend time at. Z’s Restaurant is truly one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The service was excellent, the place was spotless and beautifully decorated, and the food was absolutely outstanding.
Everything we ordered was incredibly delicious. I’ve traveled to Germany before, and this place brought back memories of refined European flavors. I had the vegetable crêpe and was blown away by how flavorful and perfectly prepared it was.
Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Everything about the experience was wonderful. I highly recommend this place to everyone — you won’t be disappointed!
We consistently have good meals at Z’s - from the steaks, to pasta to seafood, they are always high quality products prepared well. We have been probably 7 times over the past few years and I am never disappointed with my meal or the service. We had the crusted salmon, which was flavorful and prepared well and the Alfredo pasta with shrimp, which was delicious and not overly heavy as often Alfredo can be. I’m sure we will be back next year when we visit!
Wine pairing dinner. Excellent wine, dinner and service 🥂🌹
Connie was wonderful as always. That food is exceptional. I would recommend Zs to everyone. It's as good as it gets
My husband and I went here for Mother's Day brunch. The server dropped the check without asking if we wanted anything else. Our bill was $200 with an included gratuity. $200? Totally disappointed - we want our money back.
We went to the Mother's Day buffet brunch they had and the food and service was really good. Would recommend to anyone.

The fondue was the outstanding item on the menu - but please do not spoil the taste by adding pickled vegetables - the menu stated pickles ( which we thought might be good, however there is nothing appealing about pickled broccoli - please be more specific on the menu. Salad was extremely small - not shareable. Meatballs were over cooked and dry. Service was excellent however! Thank you!
Love the idea of a mid- week dinner for two! My husband ordered the green salad and salmon. I opted for the Caesar salad and short rib gnocchi. Both choices were delicious and huge portions! Thankfully, our dessert was the perfect portion, but we were so full! Highly recommend, the Zermatt chef is very talented!
Our experience at Zs was quite excellent. Our waitress was terrific, the food was excellent, and the ambience was perfect. Try the french toast for brunch. It is remarkable.
Enjoyed and service was excellent. We did their Sunday Brunch. Unfortunately for a relatively higher end resort the food was underwhelming. My wife ordered their breakfast sandwich and frankly Jimmy Dean frozen sandwiches are better. Considering Zermatt has an outstanding bakery on site and connected to the restaurant, they don't take advantage. The sandwich had an old dry English muffin and pretty lifeless. The potatoes were also dry and cold. They could and should use the bakery's fresh croissants , use more eggs, hotter potatoes and for the price, add a nice fruit component to the plate. For the prices and a bakery there on site, they should include on the table a variety serving of bakery items.
Great place for brunch. Connie is a wonderful hostess and makes the meal that much better.
