My wife took me here for my birthday and we couldn't have been happier! The French Onion Soup was delicious! We ordered the New York Strip and the Filet Minogn, and they were so tender and juicy! Perfectly cooked! The waiter was fast and friendly! We are definitely going to come back!

Paige was very friendly, we came in the fall before ski season and you don’t need a reservation on a Saturday night. Lots of space. Gavin, our waiter, was very friendly and knew all of the details of the specials and all their most popular dishes and what they were made with and how they were made. Great drink menu and very generous portion sizes.

We had an amazing experience here and they were very accommodating for our dairy and gluten allergies. We've eaten here a few times for both breakfast and dinner. Each time has been a wonderful experience and the food was phenomenal! Be very clear about your allergies. Most surfaces are shared so they will clear, clean, and prep in a new space to prevent cross contamination. My favorite meal was the New York steak, mashed potatoes, and brocolini. I don't like mashed potatoes but these were delicious! For dairy free they gave us special bread and will even adjust their sides so they remain safe.

We stayed at the hotel and decided to have breakfast here. There was a sign that said to wait to be seated but no one around to seat us. After a bit, I wandered around and knocked on kitchen door. I was told they were severely understaffed but someone would be out shortly. We nearly left, but decided to stay. The staff member was very nice tho it was just the one guy we saw the entire time. Fortunately, the restaurant didn't seem overly busy, otherwise it would have been a bigger problem. The menu is very limited, but we were able to look it up before we went to ensure all the kids could find something to eat. It took a while but once the food arrived, it was good. My husband loved the biscuits and gravy, while my daughter loved the crepes with berries. I thought the potatoes were wonderfully crispy. The restaurant itself is ok, but could use a refresh.
Overall, good food, but they need to hire more staff and maybe expand the menu a bit.
*I forgot to take pictures until later in the meal, so these are a Denver omelet meal and crepes, partially eaten. Sorry!*

We had brunch here and were so disappointed. The breakfast potatoes were obviously cheap frozen ones. And the entire meal was so bland. Certainly not worth the money.

Wife ordered the Filet Mignon, no flavor, and under cooked. I had the Tenderloin, way over cooked and flavorless. You would think for the five star pricing you could get your meat cooked properly. Sides were mashed potatoes and your choice of a second. Asparagus was good, Brussels sprouts were good. That's about it. Server was great, very attentive and friendly. Should have realized when we saw the place was empty. Disappointed to say the least.
Z's has a great menu, and wonderful staff. They have several specials to try, and last night we tried one of the steak specials, which was delicious! We eat here frequently because we enjoy it so much!
In a word SLOWWWWW. I was there for three and half hours, didn't wine in the first hour. I didn't get a starter for ninety minutes.

"Fondue" wasn't even swiss cheese. Served with buffet style warmers and garlic bread.
This place had an identity crisis. Resort prices, but really not far away from quality food. Try Midway Mercantile for quality food, and the same- even lower price. And real swiss fondue .

Would give it higher stars if I could. I don’t rate often but when the service and food are exceptional, I love to leave a review. Get the elk Osso Buco that comes with risotto. You will not be disappointed. Staff was very professional and kind. After my meal they brought me a free Diet Coke and said I could stay as long as I wanted… I don’t typically find such great service like this. The friendly atmosphere, amazing food, and free Diet Coke ultimately lead me to leave this review… thanks to the chef and friendly staff here at the restaurant. I will absolutely come here again

Our waitress Gavin was super kind. This is none of his fault but we got sat at 7:30 and got our food at 9. We planned to play mini golf and by time we got out it was to late. We have to check out early for a golf tournament so wont be able to enjoy it in the morning. The food was Good indeed but the service time is so darn slow. We miss the cocktail shrimp and Jambalaya. The mini deserts should become full slices. Seemed like some kind of a joke.
Overall, food was good but won't be back with the service being sooo slow. Like I said, gavin was great though.

Food was awful… we got there at 8 pm and got our food at 9:30 pm if you wait the long you could expect your food to be fresh. We ended up getting our 81 dollar meat cold and mash potatoes cold… basically our whole meal was cold… I couldn’t eat my meat, I order it medium well and I got it well done and cold.

We love Z's, and we're happy to see they brought back a couple of favorites from their Z's Steak & Chop Haus menu. The chef is very good, and the server is attentive to making sure your glass is filled, but it always seems to take a long time to get the meal.
Great Food, service amazing. We went up for dinner and had lots of choices but thought to try out Z’s. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. We began with the complimentary rolls which were fluffy, fresh and amazing, comes with whipped butter. We ordered the spinach dip and the green salad and the Beef Wellington for two. All was so delicious, one minor item was the ranch dressing it was not made by scratch but still good.
The service was great, they were attentive and polite and so amazing.
I recommend the Wellington for two it is worth the try.

Although a limited menu it looked good so we gave it a try. The food and was good and the waitress very good. Dining room could use some updating but the ambiance was comfortable and peaceful for a relaxing dinner even though many diners. We would go there again
