The first time I came here, the bowl was incredible. Since then, there’s been a gradual decline in quality, which has been disappointing. What ultimately led me to leave a review, though, was the service.
However, each time I’ve visited, I’ve been greeted by a young woman—likely a teenager or in her early 20s—who either seems to be having a personal crisis loudly enough for the whole bar to hear, or she cuts me off and answers for me before I can finish speaking.
As a former barista, I understand how challenging service jobs can be and how tips make a big difference. But in my experience, kind and attentive service is what encourages customers to tip well. A little friendliness and professionalism would go a long way here.

Great spot for many options including vegan and gluten free granola for the bowls! Also, the coconut base is delicious!

Cool place, lots of menu options. I really enjoyed the Protein Colada Protein shake and would definitely get it again and recommend it to others!

Definitely not bad but not the best. It's hard to compare an American style acai bowl with an authentic acai bowl made by a Brazilian (obviousy) but definitely not the worst. I love the toppings you can put on and how quickly it was to get my order. I'll go back and try again when im in the area- perhaps I'm being a little harsh .. wish there was an option to get spirulina ;)

I had the best experience at Baya Bar today! The blonde girl in the hat was super attentive and took care of all of my needs despite the fact that she was clearly slammed. Can’t wait to come back!

I really wanted to love this place—the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the shop itself is super cute and clean. The atmosphere had such a good vibe, and I appreciated how kind the girls working were.
That said, I was pretty disappointed with the smoothie bowl. The base tasted like it was pre-made and frozen solid, making it way too sweet and hard to mix with the toppings. It lacked that fresh, vibrant taste I was hoping for. My friend and I have been to Rio Açaí, which is our go-to because of its fresh ingredients, generous portions, and no artificial sweetness. Unfortunately, this just didn’t compare.
It honestly pains me to write this because the employees were wonderful and the space itself is lovely—but the food really missed the mark for me.

I've doordashed from this location before and have enjoyed the Acai bowls. I was in the area a couple days ago and decided to stop in for a bowl. I wasn't greeted during the time I came in. I waited about 5 minutes before I was helped. There was only one other person in the store with me at the time who had already been helped. When my acai bowl was done, it was just left at the counter and the 2 girls working didnt say anything. The acai bowl itself was delicious, the acai was a little too frozen for my liking but I may come back in the future.
