Was new to town, wanted a nice place to eat that wasn't bar food. My friend and I were far from impressed. Service was horrible, expected some great food for the price, it was far from that. Don't waste your money.

We had a succulent dinner when we stayed at the Hoodoo Moab. Their service is exceptional. I saw that they were paying close attention to their customers. The hostess was knowledgable and gave great suggestions. I would recommend their Birria Ribs.

Fairly priced. Rib eye was good but thinnish. Service was great. Thanks Sorah!

My steak was 70% fat that I left on the plate. The bartender was a young girl who had no idea what class or panache is. She had the “whatever” attitude about the fact 3 beers on tap were kicked. Basically, my meal was far below average and no one recalled cared.

I sat at the bar. Ordered a watermelon margarita with the tajin and they put salt on it. I kindly and I was very polite about it, asked to have it fixed. They did. I ordered a second drink.. it took me a while to finish it. Then the female bartender ( she used to work at the blupig bar, and she talked trash about them to me) ignored me… let me sit there with an empty glass forever. Never acknowledged me again. I left 35.00 on the counter and left. That should have been plenty for the teo drinks. I tried to come back a week later and was 86ed from there for not paying my bill properly.

BREAKFAST :
Service was wonderful; very friendly and helpful (Godfrey!). The food was great; huge portions, very good quality, and delicious. We did breakfast, which was free as part of our room rate, so it can’t get much better than that!

The atmosphere is fantastic; very nice restaurant with extremely comfortable seating. And very clean.

ROOM SERVICE :
Not good, do not recommend, do dine-in instead. We ordered three items for lunch and all were delivered wrong.

AND a service fee + delivery fee are included in the check, and a tip line is left blank. When I asked the delivery person what the deal was with the service and delivery $ (like, did they get that $), they said “I don’t know, I’m just delivering the food” which I took to mean that they did know and they were getting tipped from that, but they didn’t want to say so I would double tip? OR, they didn’t care about money enough to actually know what their cut of service/delivery is, so…okay. Either way, it felt off and I hate that.

It was my first time at this restaurant with my partner, and the food had no flavor, specifically the hamburgers, and the steak is average, the service was terrible, the waiter even forgot about the drinks, I definitely do not recommend this place

I recently dined at Josie Wyatt’s Grill in Moab, and unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. To start, the service was just mediocre—staff didn’t seem particularly attentive or engaged, and for a restaurant of this caliber, I expected more effort. The real issue, though, was in the kitchen. Our order was completely messed up, and while they corrected it, there was no apology or compensation offered, which felt like a missed opportunity to make up for the mistake.

Then came the food itself. The carrots in my main dish were raw when they were clearly meant to be sautéed, and it really threw off the flavor and texture of the meal. Even worse, the plates were barely warm, making the food less enjoyable. For the prices they charge, I was expecting a lot more in terms of quality, both from the kitchen and the service staff. It’s disappointing to say, but I can’t recommend this place based on my experience. There's definitely room for improvement.

The wagyu burger cooked medium rare was excellent. The wedge salad was also good.

$18 for one mimosa. Disgusting. How is a mimosa more than an espresso martini!!

Drinks were good, not to bash, but food preparation was not the best. Had the bone in pork chop and it was way overcooked. Sides were lacking as well. Maybe just a bad night.

I’ve stayed at this hotel and come to this restaurant most years since it opened. It started out great - probably the nicest bar in Moab. I was here last Thursday after booking a room for a night and it was the worst bar experience I’ve probably ever had anywhere.

My wife and I sat at the bar and waited around 15 minutes but no one would acknowledge us. There is one bartender, white guy of medium build with short cut hair, probably in his early 30’s, that kept cleaning the bar directly in front of us but was very intentionally ignoring us. Since I had nothing else to do I was watching what was going on behind the bar and it was evident that there was some sort of conflict between the staff members. They were all curt with each other and upset. I guess they decided to take it out on their customers.

Finally a different bartender asked us if we had been helped and when I said we had not he directed the bartender that had been ignoring us to help us. At that point the bartender that had been ignoring us very reluctantly took our orders. He then mixed the drink in a really weird way using multiple cups, stirring it and then shaking it. Whatever he did the drink had no discernible gin in it - tasted like pure water. We got up, left cash at the bar since we it was impossible to get anyone’s attention to pay our bill, and left to get dinner elsewhere.

I’ll never go back here either for the hotel or the bar/restaurant.

We had the wagyu meat. To be honest, it felt like eating a piece of leather. Also the table was sticky when we sat down and they couldn’t even manage to get us 2 matching glasses for the wine. I got a real wine glass and my partner got a water glass. C’mon is it really that hard?
