Breakfast was good and fast.

We were pretty disappointed. Our food was room temperature at best. The fries were definitely cold. Our server was very nice, but was clearly too busy to properly take care of his tables. I do not recommend. I wish we had chosen some place different.

Ordered some pizzas for a work event, we needed it to be tax exempt but they ended up charging us tax. Every time I call and ask about getting a tax refund the person on the phone pretends to not hear me and say “Hello” multiple times and then hang up. I know he can hear me because he will answer all my questions until I bring up a tax refund then he will pretend he can’t hear me. This is really frustrating because I work for the state and we need all purchases to be sales tax exempt. I live in Salt Lake and can’t drive down to settle this. It’s one thing if they can’t give us a refund or whatever, but to pretend to not hear me because you don’t want to help me is really rude and frustrating. I would rather have a conversation and at least try to figure something out. I have called at least 4 times now and he has done the same thing every single time. This is how the conversation will go:
Him: “Hello Moab Grill how can I help you?”
Me: “Hello, I need help with a tax refund, can you help me with this?”
Him: “You need a refund?”
Me: “Yes a tax refund, are you the right person to talk to?”
Him: “Hello?”
Me: “Hello?”
Him: “Hello?” *hangs up*

To the immigrant woman that blatantly ignored me twice at the door:

During the Civil Rights Era, African Americans actively supported immigrant rights and advocated for immigration reforms, seeing a shared struggle against discrimination and injustice. Their efforts led to the passage of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 (Hart-Celler Act), which significantly reformed U.S. immigration policy by eliminating national origins quotas and favoring family reunification and skilled labor.
Here's how African Americans helped:
Advocacy for Immigration Reform:
African Americans, through organizations like the NAACP and other civil rights groups, actively lobbied for changes to immigration laws that discriminated against people of color. They argued that these discriminatory quotas were akin to the racial discrimination they faced in the US.
Challenging Racial Quotas:
The Civil Rights Movement's fight against racial segregation and discrimination directly impacted immigration policy. The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, inspired by the Civil Rights Movement, abolished the national origins quota system, which had favored European immigrants.
Supporting Immigrant Rights:
African Americans, facing their own struggles for equality, recognized the shared experiences of discrimination faced by immigrants. They supported immigrant rights organizations and joined forces with Latino and Asian communities in advocating for more inclusive immigration policies.
Outreach and Collaboration:
Some African American community and legislative leaders collaborated with Hispanic leaders to support liberalized immigration policies, highlighting the shared struggle for equality. Many historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) actively recruited students from Hispanic communities, demonstrating a commitment to inclusivity.
Promoting Human Rights:
The Civil Rights Movement's emphasis on human rights and equal treatment under the law resonated with the immigrant community. African Americans' fight for civil rights helped to broaden the understanding of human rights and equality to include immigrants.

Restaurant attached to Big Horn Lodge. Varied menu focused on Mexican cuisine. We ordered chicken taco. The chicken was flavorless. Bean soup and rice were ok.
They beam sport channels.

Moab Grill is a must-visit if you’re in town! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Whether you’re craving a hearty breakfast or a satisfying dinner, they’ve got something for everyone. But what really made the experience stand out was the amazing service. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. If you’re in Moab, do yourself a favor and stop by—you won’t be disappointed!

Service was terrible. Place was half full. It’s been 40 minutes and we are still waiting for our food and haven’t seen our waiter for about 30 minutes. Will update once we get our food. 50 minutes to get food. Terrible service. Need some major training here how to be a server. Tall large server must have needed a job and got thrown into this with no training. Warm mayonnaise and ketchup. Soggy French toast. Be warned. Most pathetic service ever. With soggy buns on the burgers. This place won’t last.

This place deserves a medal! We were a group of 16, tired and hungry after a day of hiking. We called ahead, and they took us in.

The service was outstanding—orders were taken quickly, the food came out fast, and everything was hot and fresh. I had the Cowboy Burger, and it really hit the spot. The food overall was tasty and satisfying.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a laid-back and reliable place to eat.
