I was looking forward to eating here based on the reviews. I drove past several other places I could of stopped at but decided to drive the extra few miles. I tipped at point of order and purchase. The curly fries were freshly hand cut and good. My burger with egg looked great. The patties were undercooked in my opinion, the grilled jalapenos we talked about didn't make it on the burger. I was given some cold ones in a cup after asking. The place was dirty, everything was dirty. I'm acutually sorry to say it, and leave two stars. However I won't go back. If it had been clean that would of made a difference.

We both ordered the Michael Myers burgers without understanding that it had triple patties. A mistake on our part after a busy couple of days. It was absolutely delicious and I recommend if you're hungry. We personally had to remove a patty to get it into our mouths, plus three patties would have been death for us. We also ordered tots, and we debated if we wanted our own larges or to just try and share. I couldn't believe how many tots came with the large, and it was perfect for sharing. Overall, we really enjoyed this place. When I'm traveling in the area again, I'll definitely be stopping by.

This place has been re-opened for about a year it seems. They are clearly working on updating the place. When that is finished this could be a 5 star experience. For now let me focus on the food.
This is kind of a build your own burger place. They have singles, doubles, and triple patty options. To that you can add pastrami, ham, eggs, jalapenos... They have their own secret blend for fry sauce. And it's tasty.
Their servings are HUGE. The kids burger is the other guys regular burger. They're large fry or large onion bits come in a huge basket - would feed a whole family.
Everything is very reasonably priced. I would go back for sure!

We want you to be successful and believe the way to do it is. (1) Add healthy daily specials that families can count on (2) Provide food items that are less greasy. Maybe add spaghetti & meatballs, mexican dinner items, hot turkey and chicken dinner items not cooked in grease.

Decided to finally try Mel's, this evening. The Cashier was very friendly, we ordered our food ( note the prices on the menu board do not reflect on what you actually pay). They should update to show the true prices of the menu items. The floor was filthy, the tables were not wiped down and dirty, there are flies everywhere. The Cashiers clothing was very dirty like she was using her pants as a rag. Food took a bit to get our order, they did mess up on my burger, the grilled cheese was that old fake cheese slices not real cheese, the fries were skimpy for a large and way over cooked, almost like a potato chip. onion bits were still a bit doughy and not bits more like chunks. We will be avoiding this place not good dirty flies everywhere just like a landfill with seats
After seeing the cook and the lady helping not use gloves at all. I will never come back here . She was touching everything. From raw food to cooked food to the breading and sides. Just disgusting.

We stopped here en route from SLC to St. George. Good burger! We ordered the battered fries and onion bites. In our group, you tended to want one or the other, but everyone enjoyed it. Word of caution: large fries is seriously large! The staff was so kind and attentive. We found ourselves leaving, happy to have supported a local business and sated from a tasty meal!
