La Casa Del Fogón Mexican Grill

3.7 stars. On the positive side, the house salsa is one of the best I have had. Congratulations. On the opposite end of the spectrum was the chile relleno— maybe pulled out of the deep freeze for a quick re-fry? More likely, a monthly special from the food distributor. Couldn’t eat it. If I come back, it will be for the salsa.

I was just there today with my family and we waited for an hour to get our food. When I asked for how much longer we would have to wait for our food we were told that it was done, but we waited for ten more minutes for our food. The staff never apologized for the long wait. When we received our food, it was cold and we were given the wrong item for one of the dishes. Second time this happened and last time we go there.

The food was good, comparable to other Mexican restaurants. Service was slow, server was unfamiliar with the menu and very non-assertive but they may have been new. Also inside was incredibly hot.

Enjoyed this place. Very clean, very friendly service and good food. Service was a little slow but we were not in a hurry so it was no big deal for us. If you are in a hurry take that into account. Food was fresh and full of flavor. I think I would have enjoyed the food more had I not filled up on the nachos. I enjoyed their salsa it’s more on the thin side but had good flavors. I liked it. Check this place out when you are in Mt. Pleasant

Great food. Those that say it is overpriced is off base. One can't even get a hamburger and fries at the local places for less then twenty bucks. Staff is great and friendly.

The food was great! Absolutely loved the street tacos, especially the chicken ones! Staff were very warm, friendly, and smiley. The place is very clean inside and out, with lots of cool decorations and old-school items that were fun to check out. Will definitely be returning!

I'm not a fan of leaving bad reviews but our experience was awful. The server was very inattentive the entire time. We spilled a drink and never received napkins or anything to help clean the table and floor leaving us sitting in sticky soda the entire time even after asking for assistance. The server just looked at it and walked over it. Also a side of rice and beans was $10, that's ridiculous!! We come here often but don't think we will be back.

Decided to try out La Casa Del Fogón (Hearth Home) And we were very impressed. This isn't a cheep fast-food place. Real, traditional Mexcican food presented American style.
