“I discovered this place by accident. In less than a week I have been three times. I’m Latina and the food is Legit. This restaurante is an authentic, family-owned Mexican gem. With warm ambiance and friendly staff, it feels like home. The menu offers traditional flavors. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients make their homemade salsas and guacamole burst with flavor. The staff's knowledge and passion for the cuisine make every visit special. Colorful decor and family heritage create an immersive atmosphere. Traditional Mexican drinks like horchata and tamarind agua fresca perfectly complement the bold flavors. This place It's a hidden gem that keeps you coming back for more.”
“So happy to find a bar in this area! Bartenders were friendly and the patrons too. We were welcomed in by two huge adorable white dogs (not sure if they are local to the bar or not) but they were like friendly polar bears. We visited in July and the air conditioning was just what we needed. There are a few local beers on tap and they also have food. We ordered chicken wings that were really good, crispy and not dry. There were only a handful of people inside when we were there, so it was pretty quiet, but comfortable. It's a large space but it also feels homely. Love the LGBTQ flag!”
“Very good pizza, the red sauce is maybe a little spicier than they use at Cavalier, the dough a little less puffy - I think both options are good - but this is a take-out only place, just a counter, no seating. I'd definitely go back to try more options, but I think I might prefer Cavalier over this one. It's nice that it's within walking distance of the house.”
“We were going to eat at a fast food place nearby but decided to check out the menu here. There was a menu option that included pizza, cheese bread, and drinks for less than we would have spent for the fast food, including the 20% tip!It was all excellent. The food was good. Service was good. I loved that they have specials on the menu to compete with the other place.”
“Good, classic local grill for burgers, sandwiches, and cool treats. They have been in My Pleasant for decades so you can't argue with why folks keep coming back. In my travels through the area this time I went for the turkey and swiss sandwich that was good. The burgers are good too. We kind of missed not having picadillys on the menu though.Nothing special or bad about the facilities. The location is nice for a good walk down the main streets to visit the other local stores or the Carnegie library.”
“Absolutely LOVED our burger and battered fries with homemade fry sauce! Good ‘ol small town burger joint! Yes, it may take awhile to make the food and you may have to sit and actually visit with other people (you know, like we did back before cell phones)! Thank you Dairy Freeze for keeping our traditions alive! We appreciate you and highly recommend your business!♥️”
“Everything was great, because they were short staffed the wait was long, but man was the food so yummy. It was worth the wait.Dietary restrictions: My daughter has a dairy free so we were able to order others things.”
“idk his name but there was this employee who made me a 6 in toasted flat bread teriyaki chicken and cheese sandwich that was so busting i shedded a few tears. but on a serious note nice fellow enjoyed his service i recommend if u need to cheer yourself up go.”
“Great little sit in coffee shop. Good food, friendly service and great coffee. This is not a quick in and out coffee shop. This is a meeting hub and place to sit, relax and enjoy coffee and company.”
