“4.6/5 stars. Nestled in beautiful Sanpete County town, Das Cafe stands apart from what are otherwise burger and fast food joints. True to roots of Spring City’s European settlers, Das Cafe strikes a pleasant cord with mostly German dinner fare. The brats are delicious— and the carrot cake, rich. Service can be slow on a busy Saturday and you want to avoid sitting in the dark annex adjoining the main building.”

“I was googling many different places last minute for an unexpected event that had occurred. Sweet Shop Natalie was able to help me achieve the perfect cookies! They were personalized with great detail and extremely delicious. Sweet Shop Natalie is very talented! They came packaged individually and in the cutest box with ribbon. She was professional, understanding, quick and made this a seemingly easy task for myself. I would use her again over and over and recommend her to all! Thanks again Sweet Shop Natalie!”

Mt Pleasant Mercantile 84 W Main St, Mt Pleasant Ice Cream Shop
84 W Main St, Mt Pleasant - 7.28 miles

“We stopped in for a couple sodas and an ice cream for the little one, and this place is cool! It's a quaint little Main St shop, reminiscent of old fashioned, downtown soda fountains. There are a few local goods and honey in the store, but the sodas and ice cream are where things SHINE! My go to summer soda is a sprite with lime and blackberry, and it was crisp and delicious. We got our daughter a scoop of hucklberry ice cream (with rainbow sprinkles, of course!) and she LOVED it! We had a chat with the owner and he is incredibly nice, and was happy to stand there and talk to us, answering all the questions we had about the town. We will definitely be returning!”

“Popular place on April 3. Beautiful weather allowed our group of 6 to eat outside as there was no room indoors. The specialty burgers were really good. The grandkids burgers were pretty plain, which is what they will eat. The battered fries are really good. The shakes were smooth and thick. So glad we found this place.”

Triangle Bar 96 W Main St, Mt Pleasant Bar • $

“So happy to find a bar in this area! Bartenders were friendly and the patrons too. We were welcomed in by two huge adorable white dogs (not sure if they are local to the bar or not) but they were like friendly polar bears. We visited in July and the air conditioning was just what we needed. There are a few local beers on tap and they also have food. We ordered chicken wings that were really good, crispy and not dry. There were only a handful of people inside when we were there, so it was pretty quiet, but comfortable. It's a large space but it also feels homely. Love the LGBTQ flag!”

“I always love a good small town burger joint. Wheeler’s was a low-key yet well-established restaurant on our road trip and they did not disappoint! The menu has simple food choices with great pricing, especially for the service and food that you get. I got the bacon burger with cheese (no extra cost) and a small curly fry. The bacon was juicy, the bun was warm and golden, the burger overall assembled with care (though just a little dry, very bread-y) and the fries were hot and crispy—straight out of the oil—though I wish the small order came with more. The large order of onion rings tempted me but the $7 price tag scared me away.Dessert was a medium cherry dipped vanilla cone in a cup (the cashier presented this offer, and it was very helpful for the road) and it was sweet and tasty; well worth the $3–dipped added $1. The shakes looked very worthwhile too. I wanted a Wheeler’s t-shirt because I’m a sucker for merch and memorabilia, but unfortunately the cashier said they didn’t have any.Overall great food and a great experience after a long day!Kid-friendliness: Two separate dining rooms with lots of seating”

“I love this Starbucks because all the baristas are so nice. Tonight we didn’t know what we wanted to drink so Savannah and Sarah gave us their recs which were *chefs kiss*. They were so cute and fun and it just makes a quick run to Starbucks so much better. I would definitely recommend Savannah’s chai with brown sugar and oat milk. It is to die for!!”

“Very good pizza, the red sauce is maybe a little spicier than they use at Cavalier, the dough a little less puffy - I think both options are good - but this is a take-out only place, just a counter, no seating. I'd definitely go back to try more options, but I think I might prefer Cavalier over this one. It's nice that it's within walking distance of the house.”
