I was so excited to see a takeout Thai place as I was just passing by and had to check it out. Probably not the very best pad see ew I've had but it definitely a solid 3-4 stars. The noodles were a little soft but the flavor was quite good. I will definitely be back.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! Service was very fast, and there were a few nice tables to sit and eat your food there if you don’t want to do takeout. Food was fantastic and I will definitely be coming back!

A very adorable place with a cute atmosphere. It is very clean every time I have visited. They have great food, some of the best Thai in the city. Super quick service!Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for gluten free with lots of options!

This place is so delicious. The food feels really authentic and has a "home cooked" feel to it. The atmosphere is casual and the prices are reasonable. I have gone multiple times and will go again.

Thai tea lemonade was quite good but too sweet. Black boba tea with red guava was so excessively sweet I ended up throwing it away. I can't speak for anything else on the menu but I wouldn't have either drink again. With so many choices in SLC, I likely won't go back.

Best Thai food I've had in SLC. Got the Kow Soi dish. As someone who has visited northern Thailand the dish was true to form. Delicious! We need more food authentic Asian cuisine in the valley.

This is the second time I've tried them and unfortunately, I've just been disappointed. I used to go to the Tea Rose Diner years ago and remembered it being sooo good. The first time we went here we tried the Mango Curry, it was okay. The Pad Thai was saturated in peanut sauce and we could barely eat it. You couldn't taste anything else. I went back today to try it again, and even put in some comments on the order about my previous experience, and maybe they put less sauce on, I can't tell. I would still say the recipe really needs work, for being a staple on the menu. It doesn't taste like Pad Thai, to me, it's just so so sticky sweet, I don't get any other flavor but sweet peanuts. It's like there is straight peanut butter on the noodles. The Thai Tea was great! I love the idea of this place but I'm not sure I'll give it a third try, at least not the Pad Thai.

The pad see ew was really tasty but I was disappointed by the curry. This was my first time ordering from here, so it may partly be my fault. I ordered a 4/5 spice but the curry was so spicy it was not edible at all. I do eat very spicy food and have ordered 4/5 spice level from other Thai places and have never received anything this spicy. So I can't say if this restaurant has higher spice level or if they over seasoned the curry. I will mention that I ordered green curry and what I got was a yellow colored curry, which leads me to believe too much spice/seasonings was added (see the photo).I really did enjoy the pad see ew though, so I would eat here again and order a lower spice level to see if that makes a difference.

Having enjoyed Pad Thai noodles cooked by a nearby, non-Thai restaurant, I ordered it at Tea Rose. But it was too heavily sauced, and with a predominantly corn-syrup-like flavor. I offered my wife some of mine, and she rejected my offer for the Pad Thai being too sweet. She preferred the massaman curry she was eating, but she also thought hers was too sweet. The vegetarian couple with us enjoyed the curry dishes they ate.

I moved to Utah from the Washington, DC area 3 yrs ago and my search for good Thai (my favorite food) began. Most of the places I’ve tried were only so-so. This place is fantastic. Their “medium spicy” is what I’d call “Utah spicy, but not Thailand spicy”. That’s perfect, but I also ask for chili on the side just in case it’s too “Utah” and not enough “Thailand”. ?Prices are reasonable other than the dumplings - four for $6. That seems a bit hefty but it’s a relatively minor complaint given how good the food is.

Tea Rose is a great place to eat. I've tried many of the dishes and they all have been fabulous. The curry dishes are probably my favorite. The service is prompt and the staff are very kind.

I went to Tea Rose today for the first time. Placed my pick up order (2 entrees).... Waited 30 minutes, asked how much longer, was told 15 minutes. FINALLY got my order. It took just under an hour! There were only 5 couples in the restaurant, absolutely no reason for an hour wait!Food was average - - will NOT be going back.
