My husband ordered takeout breakfast so I could have the day off on Sunday! It reminded me of Sunday breakfast with my grandmother. Grits and scrambled eggs and fried eggs and roast for everyone else. The staff at the checkout were super nice and friendly! Great place for breakfast! Village Inn is a staple for my wife and me. We started taking ballroom dance lessons up the street and OUR VI is right on the way. Plus, the classes are on Wednesday...WEDNESDAY!?!? FREE PIE WEDNESDAY! We love the crew. This Wednesday (did I say FREE PIE?), Otto was our Host. Keisha, our Server, had the manager put the LAST PIECE OF LEMMON SUPREME aside for the end of our meal. Both of us had the steak dinner with mashed potatoes and a green salad. The steaks were tender and a good size. The green salad was fresh and plentiful. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. It was Wednesday so we got to choose free pie but you can only choose from specific pies not any flavor of your choice!
