The very carefree attention to the customer. Lack of products in the showcase. They don’t have corn. Every time I have bought they tell me that the avocado is charged extra. They don’t speak it with suggestion. They say it as if I didn’t have enough money to pay for it.The Latin cashier speaks Spanish with her co-workers and with the client who asked her if she speaks Spanish, she says no.

I normally love Costa Vida, but this was an absolutely awful experience and left me in tears. I went in to get my free dessert (I got an email with a free dessert coupon) and for some reason when I tried to order it on the app with the coupon, it wouldn’t work. I went in and tried to explain the situation but the manager completely refused to give me a dessert because she said “the coupon doesn’t work so I can’t give it to you”. Food is pretty good. Nothing special but pretty fresh and decent. I will say there were a lot of shady characters hanging out in the parking lot. Not sure if this location is considered in a sketchy neighborhood but definitely some undesirables lurking around on the day we went. My kids liked the kids meals especially the cinnamon tortilla dessert. I had the lime fire chicken or something like that. I think it was the special? Pretty good but a little chincy on the protein.
