I eat here regularly and really enjoy everything about the place. Last night I ate there and there was a small pebble or other foreign object in my food. The staff apologized but didn’t seem overly concerned. I thought they’d at least look at the serving dishes my meal came out of.

Their food is very tasty and they have several options you can combine. Just be mindful that a spoonful of anything will cost from 2 to 4 dollars. So half and half base (rice and noodles) is extra. Side teriyaki is extra. And I really wonder why a spoonful of curry is 2 or 3 dollars. Or that an ounce of meet is also 4 dollars? In that sense a $20 meal for the amount of food is quite expensive. So go there and done ask for anything extra. At the end of the day the portions of food are on the small side.

This was my first time eating at Zao and I was very impressed. I wasn't sure what to order so their team gave me a few samples of the meat choices to help me make a decision. The honey sriracha chicken was incredible! Super friendly, and helpful staff and the food was great.

Really good option for relatively healthy fast casual. The prices are very reasonable for a pretty good amount of food. You can’t really go wrong with the bowls - I like to do half rice half noodles with one of the curry sauces and some teriyaki. My only complaint is that they sometimes skimp a little on the broccoli. They have some good vegetarian options too with either a veggie bowl or the tofu is pretty good.

I greatly appreciated how he help me with my order, then after eating asked me how my order was. It was small but memorable experience eating here due to very kind and thoughtful customer service.
