I can’t say enough great things about Sara and Anna at Zao’s Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, they made the entire experience feel welcoming, fun, and personal. Their food is very tasty and they have several options you can combine. Just be mindful that a spoonful of anything will cost from 2 to 4 dollars. So half and half base (rice and noodles) is extra. Side teriyaki is extra. And I really wonder why a spoonful of curry is 2 or 3 dollars. Or that an ounce of meet is also 4 dollars? In that sense a $20 meal for the amount of food is quite expensive. This was my first time eating at Zao and I was very impressed. I wasn't sure what to order so their team gave me a few samples of the meat choices to help me make a decision. The honey sriracha chicken was incredible! Super friendly, and helpful staff and the food was great.
