We were traveling through town stopped for gas and ask about some place to eat. They said another place. We saw Carols and turned our travel trailer around. I'm so glad we did. Very cute inside, friendly staff, very clean and open. Restrooms clean. They were a little slow on service.they were busy. Food fast. Very dellicious. My husband had breskgast. The table was covered with plates. I had soup of the day and grilled cheese with fries. Fantastic. Wish we could go again.
We're just passing through

The food was ok and the service a little slow. Chicken fried steak tasted a little “gamey” which was different. Overall, was ok. I would probably try a different restaurant if we were staying another night. But it filled us up.

Got the Mac and Cheese kids meal for my daughter. It was Kraft Mac and Cheese which was watery, bland, and not fully cooked. The fries that came with it were so salty, she only ate a couple. I got the chicken noodle soup which I’m almost 100% sure was just canned soup and was so salty that I ended up spooning water into it hoping to dull down the saltiness but it didn’t really work. My boyfriend’s food tasted overwhelmingly like “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter”. The wait from when sat down to when we got our food was about 25 minutes. 2 stars because the waitress was nice.

While on vacation from the east coast, looking for a place to eat that has great food and service, we came across this place. This has to be the best place for breakfast that I have eaten on my 10 day trip out here in the west. The home made potatoes were perfect as well as the boisenberry jam. They even brought home made salsa for my eggs.
This is definitely a gem of a place for breakfast.

My spouse and I ate here while visiting Vernal. Tables were spaced nicely, providing enough privacy. It was early Sunday morning, Service felt attentive without being intrusive. The waitress greeted us with a warm smile. Our orders were accurate and arrived on time. Our server made thoughtful small talk. Out of the main area of Vernal but on the main road. Would eat there again. Shawna did really good yummy berry syrup!

Stopped in about 20 minutes before they closed at 2pm. Not only was the staff super friendly, our food was excellent. French dip was perfectly cooked and the fry sauce for my fries was tasty. Definitely must stop if you are going or coming from Dinosaur Natl Park.
