Polar King is a great spot for a frozen treat. They have both Mexican and American food options so there is bound to be something for everyone. Great small town vibe, and excellent service. The building itself is a little run down, but the food is nothing fancy but dependable. Lots of kid friendly options.

Stopped by Polar King during a hunting trip with my daughter, and was very happy we did! The food and service were excellent! If you like hot, fresh-made food and real fries, this is the place! It’s not fast food, but it is good food! It’s an old time diner style vibe on the inside, except that you get a buzzer and pick up your food at the counter. I got the bacon double cheeseburger with fries and a cookie dough shake. My daughter got chicken strips and fries. I saw the onion rings come out and kinda wished I got those, because they looked awesome. Highly recommend it if you’re in town!

What a perfect fall day in the amazing gorgeous mountains, and lunch here was the cherry on top. We had kind service as soon as we walked in. The place was clean, but casual. They delivered our shakes to use just minutes before our food. The shake was the best I've had in recent memories and the fries.... guys... the fries! Perfectly hot and fresh and so good. I can't wait till we can come back again! Thanks for helping me have such a fun day.

They do burgers and fries the right way. Way too many options for burgers in the Kamas Valley and this one tops them all. Closed on Sunday and open seasonally. Would love to see them stay open year round.

OPK is a great locals ice cream shop and diner. It's a bit outdated on the interior but have been pleased with all of the food I have tried. Great ice cream desserts (with mixins)
The fries were basically just unsalted soggy potatoes I think they maybe hit the fryer for 2 seconds. There were flies everywhere, and the tables seemed like they hadn’t been cleaned off in days.

This place is legit. Good prices and good people. Beware of the "new and improved" Oakley diner, though. If you want to see what A.I would do if it had the ability to open a diner, then definitely visit. It's the weirdest diner experience I've ever had, and I promise I've eaten at more than 50 diners across the United States. Oakley diner is like an episode of Futurama. Oakley Polar King is like an episode of King of the Hill. Polar opposite. No pun intended. 5 stars to the Polar king.

A neat little restaurant with cute family business vibes. We ordered burgers with fries, which the burgers tasted good.Although, I won’t be returning here.The customer service sucked, to be honest.I would hope that everyone would want fully cooked fries. The fries that we were served were not cooked well. and we asked nicely if we could get new fries. Quickly was refused and was told that we needed to buy a whole new order of fries.
